“What the hell was that?” I started, my hands on my knees greedily swallowing fresh air into my lungs. It was daytime by the time we made it through the thick forest, running as fast as our legs could carry us.
“I can explain but we need to get out of here first” Kate said.
I let out a humorless chuckle, my body shuddering from the cackle “No, I’m not going anywhere with you till you give me answers. I’ve had enough of being kept in the dark and I am so done with getting knocked out and kidnapped. You better start telling me the truth or I’m not moving from the spot.
