The Day You Came Into My Life

Dianne was on her way back home when she received a message from an anonymous number. But since she was riding on a bus she ignored the message and waited till she was home. Dianne was a sophomore student in college. She was the youngest among her 7 siblings. She was dedicted to her studies and she does her projects with good craft. She has high hopes for her family that one day she could shine for the family. She is taking up education and was 21 years old that time.

She was fond of watching fairy tales. She is dreaming that someday she would meet her prince and that they will end in happy ending. She grew up in a strict family so engaging herself in relationships was some kind of an impossible thing for thing because her parents might not allow her to be in a relationship. Until one day she met this man named "Ely" through text. She could still remember that was around the 3rd of November when she received that message from a stranger. Soon they began to have exchange of messages. Day and night passed. It was a bit hard for her to balance her time since she is still studying in college and there's a lot of things she needs to cope to, but for her it's something that makes her excited everyday.

During the first conversation was so exciting for both of them.

Dianne asked Ely to describe himself, "I'm 5'8" tall and wears eyeglasses. Dianne replied "I'm 5'2", there's nothing special about me. They give details about their lives. They were both 21 years old old when they met. They were born on the same month and year September 1986, but Ely was six days older than Ely. Ely was already working in an IT company that time while Dianne was still studying. They are both happy with their communication although they haven't seen each other yet. Ely was understanding about Dianne's side that she can't devote much time in their conversation because she has to focus on her studies. He even made offer to provide Dianne with the mobile allowance since he is already earning. Weeks had passed and it became their routine to have daily exchange of messages. Their day wouldn't be complete if they haven't received a simple good morning or hello. Later on they became at ease with each other,and learned about each other through their daily conversation.

One time Dianne went to the computer shop with her friend Mavy to check on Ely's social media account. Her heart begun to pound when she saw his pictures online. For her it was a fulfilment to see the person she's having daily conversation. Her admiration for Ely grew more upon seeing his photos..For Dianne Ely looks sophisticated and looks like one of the city boys that's smart looking.

Dianne was so glad when Ely came into her life. Although she didn't see him in person she fell in love with him. Ely was her first love, her one great love. Ely gave Dianne smiles everyday. Their simple communication brought so much joy in their lives.

Dianne was innocent and full of hope that Ely is the one for him. After almost a month of exchanging conversation Ely asked Dianne if he could court her and that is one thing she didn't refuse. Ely was her man of dreams. She thought that it was time already that she experiece what it felt to be inlove.

Ely was very gentle with Dianne. She felt his sincerity even without seeing him. He checks on Dianne every minute if how is she that why it was not hard for Dianne to fell in love with him. Though Dianne has lot of hesistation if until when their relationship will last. She gambled because she wants to be happy too. They were both uodated on the daily happenings on each other's lives because they give updates. It seems that distance isn't a hindrance for them.

Aside from online messaging they also send and wrote hand written love letters for each other. It was more meaningful beacuse for them it was a record of their love and all that they had shared. They sent childhood photos and photos of their family members. To count it all thay have exchanged more than 20 old fashioned hand writte love letters.

Their first six months of relationship wasn't easy. Ely became demanding of Dianne's time. Dianne didn't mind Ely's shortcomings. She was very patient and streched her patience to its limits. All she want is to be a good girl friend. Ely was her first boyfriend. Though Ely had been engaged to many relationships but according to him those were only fling and she's not serious with those girls..Ely said that he prefers provincial women compared to city girls. Dianne has no idea with romantic relationships. As to her excistement she shares her relationship with Ely to her bestfriend and her classmates in college. One time Ely sent her a video recording of him singing because he has talent in singing. Dianne let her classmates view the video as she is so proud of Ely. She even lets her classmates see Ely's photos and read their letters. Dianne was so proud of Ely as her boy friend.

As years passed by Dianne noticed the bad sides of Ely but she ignored it all because he loves him and she knows that Ely loves him too. She stalked Ely's social media account and found out that he has other women, it broke her heart. Caused her to cry a lot but Ely denied all those. She clinged to Ely's promise that one day they will meet and all those promises would come true. Dianne was very honest with Ely throughtout their relationship. Even though they haven't met yet she never tried to Ely. She wants Ely's trust not to be broken. She told Ely everything about her life, likes and her family. She didn't want to keep any secret.

But Ely was supportive about Dianne's studies. He said that if she could graduate she can come to the city and that they can live together.

Year 2010 came when Dianne finally graduated from College she was sad that time because Ely wasn't able to get in touch with her. That was one remarkle day of her life but the person she loves the most wasn't their to celebrate the joy with her.

Three days after Dianne's graduation she was so eager to find a job. She went to the city and tried to apply in a BPO company. She was so happy that finally she could help her famiy financially. She made adjustments. It was not easy for Dianne because she was not used to city life living. Life in the country side is very different. During her off Dianne would spend her day telling Ely about had happened in her work. Their relationship was already 3 years. They already decided to meet. Ely decided to come to Dianne's place. Ely booked an online ticket.

After 2 months their dream of seeing each other came to reality. Dianne went to the airport at 8 o'clock in the morning. Ely's arrival is about 10 in the morning. Dianne has unexplained emotions as she was waiting with her best friend. She didn't know how to react all she knows was she waited many years to meet the man she loves the most.
