The Most Awaited Time to Happen

The moment that their eyes met was magical. It's just like those found in the movies.

Dianne's heart was pounding while she saw Ely was approaching. When their eyea met they rushed to each other like they don't care what other people would say. It's just like a movie scene seeing two lovers met from a long distance relationship. Ely gave a Dianne hug tight and kissed her on her checks. Dianne was with her best friend Mel.

Dianne introduced Mel to Ely.

"Ely, meet my best friend Dianne". He gave her a warm smile and a handshake.

Though they already know each other based on Dianne's stories and photos seen on social media.

Mel said to Ely, "Good thing that you two had finaly met because my friend Dianne has always been dreaming of meeting her prince". Dianne blushed upon hearing those statement from Mel but they giggled after hearing those. But Mel left first because she also wants to give lovers time alone.

They went to the nearest mall and found a restaurant where they can eat together. Ely felt that Dianne was quite shy. Ely told Dianne not to be shy and that she is safe with him.

They both can't explain the happiness they felt because they have met in person. For Dianne it's dream come true. Ely had to stay for 3days only because that is the only number of days his work permitted him. They did not waste those 3 days they came to visit the tourist spots in Dianne's place. The following day Ely visited Dianne's family to personally met them. Dianne's family had prepared a simple lunch to welcome him.

When Ely arrived at Dianne's home he had some stuff for her family. Dianne introduced him to her father, mother and her siblings. Ely felt the warm welcome of Dianne's family. He assured Dianne's family of his love for their daughter. Ely had also promised that it won't be his lst visit as he will come soon as long s his work permits him. Dianne was longing for that moment to happen. It's a realization for her that even they came from a long distance relationship it still worked for them.

3 days was just too fast. Ely needs to go back to his place because his leave was over.

When he arrived they continued their communication and Ely promised to return soon and to stay much longer because he wants to spend more time with her. Ely invited Dianne to come and visit his place too so that he could meet his family.

Six months after Dianne decided to visit Ely's place. She applied for 1 week leave vacation to spend time with Ely and meet his family.

Ely fetched Dianne at the airport. He brought flowers with him that caused Dianne to blush upon receiving them. Ely brought Dianne home and introduced her to his parents. Dianne was shy at first. Ely's mom came and hugged her upon her entrance to their home. "Good thing I finally met you Dianne. My son talked so much about you and how wonderful your family is during his last visit in your place. Maybe I can come with him the next time he comes to your place". "Yes, of course, you are welcome at all times, she replied with sincerity.

Ely's mom seemed to like Dianne, she seemed to be a decent girl. Ely's mom even wanted her son and Dianne to wnd up together.

One time Ely brought Dianne at her workplace, introduced her to his collegues. Dianne observed that Ely is really passionate about his job, no wonder he got promoted.

During the weekend Ely and Dianne went out on a date. They watched movie together, went to the amusement part. Ely asked Dianne if she could transfer there so that they will be near each other. But Dianne is still hesistant as their are still many things she needs to consider in deciding about moving to another place. It's not easy to find a new job and she's not certain if her parents would permit her. But one thing is for sure she wanta to be near Ely.

Since they met their relationship was in a new level. They started considering marriage. Since they are already in a legal age and is capable.

Dianne and Ely spent more time with each other. For them they have to make use of every minute because of the lost time they were not together. Ely gave Dianne a necklace. He was the one who put it on her neck. It was a beautiful necklace with their initials on it "E & D". Soon they hugged and Ely kissed Dianned on her lips. It was her first kiss, she didn't know how to respond. She felt a strange sensation. His kiss was gentle.

Ely gave Dianne a tender hug. Ely told Dianne that he loves her so much and that she means the world to him.

They are both very glad to be finally in each other's arm. It's dream come true for them. Distance did not hinder their love.

Just when Dianne thought everything is in its place. Something unexpected broke her heart. Dianne saw Ely with another woman. She can't believe what she saw. She thought Ely was faithful and she's the only woman in his life. She has so much trust in Ely. That sight broke her world. Tears fell down on her cheeks.

She immediately returned home and talked to Ely's mom. Ely's mom tried to console Dianne and asked her to discuss things with her son because it might just be a misunderstanding. Dianne was so frustrated that she just wanted to go home immediately because she felt so betrayed. Ely's mom informed her son and Ely came home immediately to talk to Dianne.

Dianne was crying when Ely came. "Honey, let's talk. Let me explain. It's not what you're thinking. Please listen to me first", Ely said.

"So, did you just let me came here for me to find out about your other woman"? exclaimed Dianne.

"No, it's not what you're thinking. The girl you saw with me is just my colleague. There's nothing going on between us. Please believe me Dianne".

Dianne doesn't know if she'll believe in Ely's explanation. He's trying his best to console her. Ely's mom tried to intervene. She assured Dianne that Ely doesn't have any other woman. She wiped the tears in her eyes and hugged her. She wants to settle things immediately between Dianne and her son.

Dianne's Point if View:

Is it wrong that I decided to came here? What if Ely's just trying to cover things up? What if he's been in a long relationship with that woman I saw? Will I just give up my love for him? But I can't afford to lose him. I'm willing to sacrifice just for him. Maybe I should listen to him and give him a chance. I don't want our relationship to just end this way. Ely is mine and I want to keep him forever. But how can I do that since I have only two days to stay here? How can I keep my eye on him?

Dianne has been thing of the pros and cons. He wants to give Ely a second chance since she has no solid proof that he's really having an affair with a different woman. But I'm willing to take the risk.

The following morning as Dianne walked down the stairs Ely's mom called her to eat breakfast. She said Ely prepared and cooked her favorite food.

"Come here Dianne," Ely said as he pulled the chair for Dianne. "Have a seat, hope you will enjoy the food I prepared for you."

"Oh, it smells and looks good." Dianne said.

Dianne thanked them for their hospitality in welcoming her in their home. Her flight will be tomorrow to her hometown.

Ely and Dianne had a serious talk after that breakfast. Ely assured Dianne not to worry anymore because he won't do anything to ruin their relationship that they kept for so long. "Just trust me, and everything will be alright. I love you so much and I can't afford to lose you." Ely said.

Dianne said it's fine but deep inside her there are still a doubt but she's willing to gamble.

On Dianne's flight way back home Ely nad his mom went with on the airport. Dianne's mom hugged her and said that she will miss her and be back soon. Dianne was glad that Ely's mom likes her and is supportive of their relationship. She's thankful for her. Ely and Dianne hugged each other tight as it's time again for them to be separated. They will wait for another several months or years to be together again. Their tears tell as they waved goodbye to each other.

Dianne was sitted on the window area as the plane landed off. She was thinking about her short visit and thinking on what's ahead for her and Ely.
