THE AFFAIR

The phone could not stop ringing,Jack had to sneak to the bathroom to answer.Camille told Jack to see her tomorrow,"i told you not to call me at home,iam married,"he pleaded with her as he hung the phone.Jack went to bed to cuddle his wife and switched the phone off.He dropped his wife at her work place and headed to his work place.Upon arrival at the Moletane company premises he was met by a fuming Camille."Why did you drop the cut the call while i was still speaking?"Camille asked Jack.He told again not to call her at home,he proceeded to his office.Later Camille came to apologise and they kissed,she reminded him of a meeting in the afternoon then she left.The clients arrived and they were lead to the boardroom.After they were served refreshment Jack arrived,Camille was there to take notes as she was Jack's secretary.The meeting began and Camille was busy caressing Jack under the table.After the meeting was over ,they closed the door and started kissing.One thing lead to another,Jack unzipped her dress and there she was and the rest is history.Jack went to his office and Camille to her desk.Jack met Camille at bar when he accompanied his friend Shawn.She had just finished her cambridge.She pretended to fall and Jack being the gentleman he is caught her.That was the beginning of everything,it started as a fling then Jack could not let go.He got Camille a job at his company to be close to him.Camille has not met Jack's wife ,she acts like his wife .They have left for work,she asked him to stop at Hungry Lion to grab something to eat when she gets home.He dropped her at her apartment,she invited him in but declined as he was already late to pick his wife.He finally arrived at Linda's work late,he said he was stuck in traffic and apologised."How,was your day love?Linda asked her husband.

"It was great love,missed you,"she smiled at her husband and kissed him.They drove home listening to their song "everytime you go away".They showered,Linda warmed the food and served her husband.They were relaxing in the sitting room when she told her husband about her bussiness trip."Honey,we are going on a business trip to South Africa, for a month,iam going to miss you,"shr told her husband as she embraced him."Oh,come here,"Jack held his wife for a while.Later he picked her up and carried her upstairs.They kissed passionately and made love.Next morning he helped her pack and dropped her at the airport.Linda could not stop crying, she kissed her husband and proceeded to board the plane.He rushed to the office to tell Camille the good news.She could tell by the smile on Jack's face that her man was happy about something.Camille could not wait to knock off.She moved to Linda's place,they are now cohabiting.Tonight they are celebrating,she is feeding Jack strawberries with ice cream.They do everything together.

Now that Linda is on a trip,Camille has been promoted to a senior position.

Jack hired Amanda to be her secretary,she was one of Linda's friends,she was not in the country during their wedding.Jack had no idea who she was,Amanda also has no idea who Jack is.Amanda was good at her work,better than Camille,he praised her for working hard and they bonded easily.

One day when Amanda was still talking to Jack the phone rang it was Linda."Can i speak to Mr Moletane please,"she handed the phone to Jack and he talked to the caller for a while.

"That was my wife Linda,she is on a business trip,"Jack told Amanda.Amanda wondered who Camille was if Jack has a wife.She does not know it is her friend.

Jack left Amanda and went to his office, Camille was already there, demanding to know where he has been."You really can not stay away from her?"asked Camille

"I was talking to my wife,"Jack told her.

"Wife!what am i a man?"

"I thought you understood that i was married man,stop acting crazy,"he reminded her.Camille was jealous of Amanda,she was easy going,she had befriended almost everyone at the company even Jack.Jack told Camille to leave his office and stop accusing him of silly things.Camille could not believe what she was hearing, now Jack treats her like everyone.He had tried to be patient with Camille but ever since Amanda got employed she has been playing a security guard.

Linda was in the golden city,Johannesburg,she was enjoying the enviroment,but she was missing her. husband so much.She could not wait to finish her job there,she was worried as the only time she could talk to Jack is at work.She thought Camille was the problem,she recalled an incident when they had stopped by the company,she was behaving funny towards her husband.

A week before she came back,they had to attend a gala dinner.Denzel, a very handsome businessman could not keep his eyes away from Linda.Ever since she arrived he has been trying his luck,but she was always busy.Tonight he managed a conversation,she was a really amazing woman.

"Your husband is a lucky man,"Denzel told her.

"I hope he knows that,"she was laughing as she said this.Denzel realised something was troubling her,he promised her that her problems are safe with him.She told him she has doubts about her husband's secretary.He advised her to be sure before confronting her husband.Denzel was inlove with Linda but he was not a home wrecker.She called home again and there was no response,her face suddenly changed and told Denzel she will have an early night.He accompanied her to her hotel room,he hugged her,"if you need me, iam in the next room",he then left.She could not sleep thoughts were running through

her mind.Around two in the morning Denzel heard a knock,he saw Linda and invited her in."Denzel,i really have to go home,i called there again,there was no answer,"she was sobbing.He embraced her and they sat on the bed,she eventually fell asleep.Denzel slept on the couch.It has has been a while since Linda spoke to her husband,she called his office line unfortunately he was out of the office.Camille came to Amanda and told her to stay away from Jack.

"Unlike you,i know why iam here.Camille,stay away from Jack he is married,"she advised here.Camille was fuming.The moment Jack returned,Amanda informed him about his wife's call.He immediately called her back and she informed him that she is coming home next week.Jack knew he need to clean his house before hi wife arrived.Camille came to drop some files at the reception when she saw Jack and Amanda talking.

"What is really going on?"she asked Jack.He ignored her and went to his office.She followed him there and they had a heated argument.

"Why do you always have to embarass me infront of my employees?"Jack stormed at her.She apologised and promised it will never happen again.

"Linda,is coming home next week,so i need you to move out,he told her.She started throwing tantrums."Why cant you tell her we are dating,you love dont you?"she asked him.

"I also love my wife,"Jack reminded her.Camille told Jack that she was in a family way.

"How could you let this happen,iam married,this will destroy my wife,"he was so angry.He left Camille and headed straight home."Denzel,iam leaving tomorrow,thank you for giving me a shoulder to cry on,"she thanked him.He gave her his business card and hugged her.They went out for lunch,since she was leaving tomorrow." You are really a good guy Denzel,you will make someone happy someday,"she told him.

"If i meet someone like you,then i will marry her,"he was looking at her lovingly.He gifted a gold necklace and put it on her."It must have costed you a fortune,"Linda could not stop admiring it.She felt so bad for not buying him anything.He promised to pay a courtersy call to Botswana very soon.Linda told him she needed to pack, so they went back to the hotel.Will he see her again,he wondered.
