Chapter 6

Sara ‘s house  

Sara and her friends booked a cab and returned back to their  respective home. Sarah enters her house. She saw her brother and her mother sitting on the dining table. Her brother was doing his homework with her mother .Her brother looked up at her and smiled

 "di..you are back ,"he asked .Sarah hugged her mother from the back and gave her a kiss on the cheek lovingly .Her  mother holds her hand and asked her "you will  have lunch ?"

No mumma…. I ate roll with my friends. Sarah replied moving towards her brother.  She stood beside her brother and with her both the hand she messed up his hair.  Ayub got angry.  She immediately ran towards her room and locked the door . Sarah gets inside her room and changes her clothes . She took her towel into the washroom and started opening the shower. As she was pouring shampoo on her hair she recalled her enter day event from the afternoon time she was feeling a kind of uneasiness. She felt a kind of distress as if something wrong is going to  happen. Keeping aside her thought she wrapped her towel on her body and came out of the washroom. 

      She dried her hair and looked into her phone. No message… no call from him she thought he must be very busy with his work Suddenly her phone started ringing she looked up at her phone and smiled 

"Hello… Meri jaan.....  what are you doing he asked 

Nothing just got freshen up ...tell me what are you doing ??she asked 

Work baby work… the  ending month of the year is very  hectic. You  know naa baby .

Ya... Ya... I know  ......how busy you are.  All the time you keep on working. You know you are calling me after one week and I haven't seen you for two weeks. I know now you don't care about me.  You only care about your boss.  It will be better if you marry your boss.  She complained. 

Raj was laughing... She could hear his laugh.  She got angry now. 

ahhhhaaaa...my jaan is complaining.  " he took a deep breath and said  

" jaan... You know na how much I love you.... Please try to understand if it would have been possible I would have met you.  Beside you final exam is also coming near.  You must focus on your studies. 

Pleasssseeee.....  Again don't start lecturing me.  Ooohhhhhh... God... Why am I  having a grandpa in my life.  

Atcha... Really... Now I am grandpa... Isn't it?.   He said teasingly... " Let me  wind up my work first then when I will meet you,  I  will show you what kind of grandpa I'm.  

Sara 's cheeks became red listening to Raj's  confession. 

Sara felt giddy.  She controlled her feelings and with fake anger she says 

"no.... I know again you will make excuses. It will be better if you marry your boss. 

OK ...I promise you by the end of this month I’m going to meet you and you will have a surprise from me. 

Sarah face looked excited her eyes were shining hearing about meeting him. Then she realized he talked about surprise .

"What surprise ", she ask 

Ahhhhaaaaa…. No… no… I won’t tell you now  . It is a surprise ,you have to wait patiently ...my baby. "

"No Raj you need to tell me now only "

"This... for this reason I don’t tell you anything beforehand . Jaan ... you have to wait till we meet.  Till then you need to focus on your studies.  And when I will come to meet you I will spend the entire evening with you.  

"OK" she replied sadly. 

"I ’m gonna hang up now as I have loads of work to complete .bye ...bye sweetheart  I I promise we will meet soon.  And give my greetings to your mom and dad ..bye. 

. Bye bye . 

 she kept her phone on her study table and wore her nightdress . She sat on her table to study for  her  coming exams.  

after some time her mother enters her room and placed the glass of milk on the table 

She then sits on the bed.  She looked at her daughter lovingly.  

Beta did you talk with Raj..she asked  

Sara's P. O. V

I smiled and nodded my head in affirmation  

Her eyes shined with hapiness. 

"Beta.. At first I was not in favour of you getting married so early .I was never in support of your  marriage but when  your papa and I met Raj we knew instantly that he is the perfect boy for you. I know Raj will give you all the hapiness that you desire. When he told us that he wants you to complete your study before  getting married,  I was very happy.  Sarah , I can see his love for you.  I know he will keep you safe and happy. Earlier I have not told you anything about your marriage with Raj because I was not sure of Raj will be perfect for you or not, but now I know my daughter is in  the safe hand. You know Sarah Naima always wanted to have a daughter for herself but due to some complications during her  delivery of Raj she had  to remove her uterus.. She always wished to have a daughter.  She will always treat you like her own daughter" 

"I know mom. And I also know that you love me a lot. Dad and you will never take wrong decision for me. "

Getting up from her seat she hugged her mother.  Her mother had tears in  her eyes.  Sara rubbed her mother's tear and  kissed her.  Her mother kissed her back on her forehead. 

Sarah was happy unaware of the danger that she had come crossed today. She is unaware that her life was going to change completely.  Her dreams will be shattered. She has no idea what God have  stored in her future. . Her eyes which now shone with hapiness will turn into fear in the future.

Today Sara had a extra class.  She was copying the notes from  Rehana. 

she was feeling hungry..  After copying the notes  all of them decided to  go to  the nearby coffee shop. 

Sara puts her books and copies inside her bag.  They all  moved out of the school campus  and entered the coffee shop.  Three of them went to the counter  and checked the menu.  

 what will you have?  asked divya 

I will have a  cappuccino and  two vanilla  pastries. Said Sara looking into the menu and pointed two fingers indicating.  She then passed it to Rehana. 

I will have a  spring roll and a coke " said Rehana.

  I will have veg  pasta said divya 

After placing their order they sat at the corner table. They were discussing about their classes . But divya was scrolling her phone. She was not at all serious about her studies.  She wanted  to become  a fashion    Designer.  Her  plan for the future is to complete her highschool and join college in fashion designing.   But Rehana and Sara were   book worm.   So mostly  both of them used to discuss about  their studies and divya used to be left alone in their conversation.  So she was mostly  occupied with her phone scrolling. The waiter placed their orders on their table and left. 

They started having their food.  

Divya  started her conversation  while gulping   her pasta. 

I need to buy a gift  for my mom  . It's in the coming Tuesday and I need to go on Monday . Now who is going to help me with it.  She asked. 

Sara was quietly listening to her.  She didn't utter a single word . She was busy finishing up her pastries.

It won't be possible for me next Monday because I have to go to the bank.  My father is not well so I have to go  transfer the money in the account.  So I won't be available.  Do one thing take Sara with you. 

Now Sara looked up with her big doe like eyes. 

Next Monday.... Impossible... I have  to keep my notes update.  I won't be able to go.  Saying that she took another bite of her pastry. 

Please... Please.. Yaar... I dont want to roam alone in the shopping mall.  I have only you both . If you both refuse then whom shall I ask for favour.  Tell..no..  She pleaded. 

Sara felt sad and looked at Rehana asking her to accompany Divya.  Rehana shooked her head  sideway indicating no.  Divya was watching both of them.  She got angry.   

No... Need...  I don't need anyone..   I can go alone.  Saying that she took her bag and went near the counter to pay her share of bill.  Rehana was eating quietly.  She knows how divya used to do blackmail.  So she didnot bother.  But Sara felt bad.  She looked at Rehana  who was eating like her aim in life was to complete her food.  She knew if she looked at Sara she won't be able to refuse her. So she was quietly eating her food and didn't look at Sara. 

Sara stood up and went near Divya. 

Hey.... I will go with you...  Sara said  standing near the counter beside her. 

 She took out her purse. 

Divya looked at her  . Her eyes were glittering.  She composed herself and with fake angry tone said.  No need... I will manage. 

Sara was observing her drama with a look of a kitty.  Half shut eyes.

Oyyeee.... Stop your drama... If you once more say that you don't need I swear  I'm seriously not going. " Sara said pointing her finger towards Divya. 

Divya smiled and hugged her. 

I know  you will always be there for me.  

Sara also smiled hearing her confession.  

Sara....  Screamed Rehana from  her seat.   Sara looked at her direction with a look of confusion. Rehana showed her the phone which she left on the table.  Sara realised  her mistake  and came near Rehana to collect it. 

Thanks.. 

Rehana got up and put her arm on Sara's shoulder.  After they paid their bills and came out of the cafeteria. 

They took the local bus and left for their home. 

Three of them were unaware of the surrounding that there was someone who was observing them silently. 

Someone was listening to  their conversation  . He was looking at them with eagle eyes.  His eyes was at one of them who had disrupted his mental peace.  Finally after five days he got the hold of her sight.   Their identity finally got revealed infront of that person.  Sara.. He uttered her name inside his head.  As soon as they left the place the person also walked out  of the cafeteria and  got inside his car.   He started following  the bus... After  five minutes  two of them got down and and started  walking towards their house.  But the one for whom he was  inside the car   was inside the bus.  As the bus kept on moving on the road, so was the car following behind. 

 Suddenly the bus stopped and here  she comes out  

 She got down from the bus.  She turned towards the left side and entered her bylane.  He parked aside his car  and kept staring at  departed  figure. 

He was looking at her back.  She had a  bag on her back.  Her hair which was tied in a ponytail was moving left and right  invitingly.  He was looking at her without blinking.  He looked more at her.  She was wearing a school uniform.  She might be in her school or highschool  probably.  He thought.  He recognized the uniform.  It belongs to  Sai vikash academy which is near the market place.   She went straight into the bylane and opened the gate.  When she closed gate she saw a car parked at the bylane of  her house.  She looked at the car.   She couldn't  see the person sitting on the driver seat.  She had never seen such type of car  in her neighborhood.   After closing the gate she turned and walked towards her house.  The person inside the car  looked at the retreating figure.  

He took out his phone and dialed a number.  

Rihan.. I need some information about a girl.  Her name is Sara , studies in sai vikash academy.   By tomorrow I want every minute details about her.  He ordered. 

Done boss...  Said Rihan,  his right hand  in the  gang.
