Daisy's P.O.V.

It's been Two days since we arrived at New York and we are setting quite well. Although things has been different. New York and North Carolina are after all two different places entirely.

I called Emily and showed her a tour of my New home. Her reaction was even worse than mine. She was screaming out her lungs and rambling about how beautiful my new home was.

I made sure my bedroom was the last I showed her. The Best is reserved for the last. She gasped when she saw it her eyes nearly flying out of their sockets.

As soon as I hung up. My phone pinged with a new message from Emily.

I ignored the text while smiling and decided to pick out an outfit from my suitcase since I'll be going shopping with mom to buy new stuff for school

I picked a Brown pleated skirt with Blue jumper adorned with shiny designs white canvas and a black sling bag where I placed my phone and some few notes.

I Braided my hair into two fishtails applied my signature body spray coated my lips with strawberry lip balm and hoped downstairs to join mom.

Daddy had left for work. He's been much more Busier now since he is the one heading their company's branch here at New York.

Josh was out to explore as he said so I'm left with mom and we are going shopping together.

I have a feeling the shopping is going to take lots of time since we need lot of new things to make this place feel like home and dad already made sure there are lots of money to purchase lots of stuff.

Hi m_mommy I greeted while I sat down on the dinning table.

Hey Baby. mom replied passing me a plate of waffles.

Thank you momm_mommy. I appre_appreciated grabbing the jug and pouring strawberry juice for myself.

I ate while Mom waited. I supposed she already had breakfast earlier.

The waf_waffles was Soo good. Mom_mommy is a very good cook. I love her for that.

After I finished with Breakfast. I cleared the table quickly did the dishes while Mom called a taxi since our car has been shipped but yet to arrive. we have to make do with a taxi for now while Dad uses his official car.

She grabbed the keys and Locked the door while we went outside the gate to wait for the taxi. I noticed a grand white house beside us and it was so beautiful. it was designed classic Victorian style.

I'm guess_guessing they are our neigh_neighbors mom. I asked not reali_realizing when I spoke up.

Yes they are. The Agent said they are not around that's why we haven't met them yet.

ohh oka_okay. I replied.

Somehow I wished they had a daughter my age so we could maybe get along though I wasn't planning on replacing Emily anytime soon.

Soon enough a taxi pulled up and after mom confirmed it was the ride we ordered we both got in.

After Fifteen minutes the taxi pulled up in front of a grand shopping mall. The name was written in Bold Gold Letters."Skyline Center" it read. It looked very luxurious with Golden glasses giving me a clear view of the type of clothes they sell.

Do I say. The clothes look very expensive.

Mo_mom isn't t_this pla_place too exp_expensive. I fidge_fidgeted glancing around.

Baby we are rich now. Get used to it. Mommy said pulling my hands while marching inside the mall.

As soon as we stepped into the shopping mall. I felt a cold shiver run through my spine of course it was air conditioned.

I actually love cold so it's not a big problem.

Mom and I visited the clothes section first and I looked through the array of dresses carefully arranged while some were on gold and black mannequins.

Mom stopped at a black dress adorned with white pearls. it looked so hot and sexy something that could be worn on a dinner date.

I saw a few sweaters I absolutely fell in love with and I picked three sweaters making sure I asked Mom's opinion on it.

Okay then. mom replied it felt like that was the go ahead she needed she immediately started picking different dresses in different colors asking me if I love them.

They really looked beautiful after I handpicked colorful sundresses. Later we went to the shoes collection Mom made me tried different classy heels and I love how well it looked on my legs.

We also bought a few handbags with different colors, I bought hair bows, caps and some jewelries by jewelries I mean necklace, earrings and bracelet.

Later we went on to try all the dresses in the changing room. They looked fine but I couldn't help but feel self conscious of my body.

it felt like my butt was sticking out. I tried to drag it down but it just ended up revealing my chest area in the process.

Baby let me see. mom asked paintely waiting outside the changing room.

I decided to gather courage and I came outside hiding behind the door.

Daisy. I can't see you very well that way. I don't know why you are always feeling shy.

I stood outside mom standing ridiculously while looking down at my feet.

O.M.G mom gasped twirling me around. you look so gorgeous.

Go change out of it so we can pay and leave. we still need to go to the grocery store.

Alrig_Alright mo_mommy. I replied heading back inside to change our of the dress.

I joined mom at the counter and we payed for everything. I saw so much zeros than I could count but I decided not to say a word about it.

The attendant was very polite and all smiley thanking us for shopping with them.

I was surprised that the Taxi was still outside as if reading my reaction.

Mom told me she booked him for the day. He collected the shopping bags from us and placed it at the Boot.

While he drove us to the grocery store. when we arrived he parked the car and we hoped out.

I grabbed a shopping cart from the arrays while Mom began grabbing stuffs we needed. She took Bread, Milk, cheese,fruits &vegetables, flour and cooking oil.

We added cereals like granolas, oatmeal, Bacon and sausages, chocolates, snacks, coffee peas, my favorite strawberry juice and yogurt, nuggets, jam, peanut butter, ketchup and mayonnaise.

I picked ice cream, sodas, and a pack of bottled water.

Then cleaning supplies and Trash bags was also added to the overflowing shopping cart were. added after confirming we bought everything we needed.

We checked out at the counter, paid our bills and our items were packed. A male sales attendant helped us with the shopping bags and I caught him looking at my Butt while I walked.

He's such a a p*****t. I don't like him.and I don't wish to come across him again. I saw him wink at me while licking his lips and I internally groaned and when he left I heaved a sigh of relief.

The driver took us back home assisted us with our shopping bags and I saw mom tip him generously by this time we were already at late evening.

I took my shopping bags and went upstairs to my room. I admired all the new stuffs I got before starting to fold them carefully in my closet. I pasted the stickers on my walls giving it a girly aesthetic vibe.

I freshened up and wore shorts and a tank top while I went downstairs. mom was busy arranging the groceries into the kitchen cabinets and I decided to assist.

After we were done arranging the groceries and Mom looked satisfied it was already five and mom decided we start making dinner because dad would be back by six.

While in the process of making dinner. Josh arrived with his camera in hand.

Hey mom. I greeted giving her a side hug.

My Boy how're you Mom greeted back adjusting the cooker.

Hey princess. Josh greeted grinning.

Josh I ho_hope y_you ha_had fun. I greeted stretching to catch a clear view of his camera.

Stop girrafing. you might strain your neck. I'm going to show you the pictures I took. he said handing me his camera.

There are even much more better ones. He said proudly.

I didn't realize I had spent a lot of time watching the photos when mom announced dinner was done and ready while Josh jogged upstairs to freshen up.

Hey my loves. Dad announced spreading his arms.

Da_Daddy you are home. I said jumping into his arms while smiling. He pecked my forehead before moving to mom and placing a quick kiss to her lips while I looked away.

Yummy yummy. I smell something delicious. Daddy said sniffing his nose.

Honey dinner is ready go freshen up and change so you can join us.

okay. Daddy said before leaving to the bedroom.

While we dished the food Daddy and Josh joined us at the dinner table.

Hah Honey you made my favorite. Dad said staring at the meal of Grilled steak with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.

Mom. Josh began crossing his hands on his chest you keep making everyone's favorite but not mine. why is that.

I'm sorry son. I'll make it up to you tomorrow for dinner and prepare your favorite chicken Alfredo.

You really will. Josh reconfirmed.

Of course. A promise is a promise. mom assured while Josh grinned in satisfaction.

Everyone finished their dinner before Daddy told me he wanted to talk to me.

Daisy you are going to begin school next tomorrow. I mean the day after tomorrow. I would have loved for you to go tomorrow but due to the stress your body has undergone. I want you to recover so by next tomorrow you will begin school.

Of course Da_Daddy I un_understand I csn_cant wait to be_begin sch_school here at Ne_New York.
