Eros POV
I paced my room, trying to clear my head. What the hell was I supposed to say to my butterfly? Should I just tell her who I am? Would she even remember me? Or worse, did my kitten already tell her?
“s**t,” I muttered, grabbing my phone. “I need to talk to Coral before Harmony shows up.”
I hit call.
Ring… Ring…
Jason answered, his voice teasing.
“Momma Coral’s phone. This is Jason. How can I help you, Dragon?”
I snorted. “Hey, man. How are the new babies?”
“Good. And hopefully that’s it. We’ve got a whole litter of pups here.”
I laughed. “Yeah, I can imagine. Can I talk to the mother?”
“Hold on.”
A moment later Coral’s voice came through, warm but suspicious.
“Hey, Eros. What happened?”
I frowned. “Kitten, what do you mean, what happened?”
