Wednesday morning, 8:30 a.m.
I haven’t seen Magnus since Monday, though he’s called every day to check on me and the kids. He said he’ll try to come tomorrow or Friday, that he’s worried about us and looking for a way to move us all to the pack under protective custody.
What I haven’t told him is that I don’t want to go well, not while Lisa is there. She’s cruel and devious, and with Demarco backing her, she has more inside people than anyone realizes. Power stacked on power. I’ll never understand why wolves like her can’t just be satisfied with what the Goddess already gave them. She’s already a Luna, a Queen even, and still, she wants more.
