Chapter 21
Jasmine's p.o.v.
I walked a few meters from Alex, not wanting him to see me... at least, not right away. He swayed aside from time to time; apparently, he had been drinking before coming here. His phone rang, he picked it up, and I heard him say, "Not now, Roberto," before hanging up.
Roberto... probably one of his new "friends".
He reached the top of the school, where we liked to hang out. It was always locked, but we had made a copy of the key three years ago. The hall where the party was had open windows, and I could hear the music faintly from here. It was strangely peaceful to observe Alex, seemingly calm... unaware of my presence.
