"Party a month after Mark's death?" Riley caught up with me in the hallway. "This is not normal. I can't believe that Chloe not only allows this, but also participates. And by the way, I think Richard was looking straight at you when he announced that 'everyone is invited.'"
"I do not care." I said immediately. "I'm not going there. I'm not going to turn Mark's death into a circus."
Riley was about to say something, but he fell silent and we kept walking.
