• Miami, Jasmine's room •
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to talk to you."
Lucas. He was standing in front of me.
"Is there anything to talk about? I thought we clarified everything last time."
"This is Miami. Holiday with the class. Go down and have fun."
I laughed, but in pain.
"I have no desire. I'll ask you to leave, please."
"No."
"What?"
"I'm not going out," he snapped. "Not without you."
"I want to be alone."
"Well, sometimes we don't get what we want, do we?" he replied.
"What do you want from me?" I asked him directly.
"Come with me to the beach."
"To the beach?" I looked at him confused.
"You don't want to be by the pool in all this noise, okay. Then come for a walk on the beach." he looked at me.
