Benny’s POV
I have left Tanner sleeping, the kid is doing so well, he’s eating mushy food now, and the x-rays he had today are showing that his bones are starting to heal. He still has a way to go, but the surgeon looked happy with his progress when he came to see us. I’m now on my way to Eralia’s room to tell her everything the doctor said and I’m secretly hoping that I can talk Gloria into somehow getting Tanner down to her room so his sister can see him. I know she has been going crazy not being allowed to get out of bed yet and, though he’s putting a brave face on it, I know Tanner wants to see her too.
