Unbreakable Bond

Chapter 9

**********PRESENT**********

"Get us out of here then Jacob. I should kill you", Paige said as she and Kevin, along with many mutants were following him out. 

They were still in the cell area, trying to get more mutants as they went past. Paige was looking for Zachary, she already knew he was there, she just did not know where. She had heard he was transferred there after she had talked to Aria. She had to find him.

"Look Paige I love your-" Paige cut him off.

"Lie to me again and I will have David here teleport you at the top of Everest and leave you there", she said angrily.

Jacob put his hands up. "I was never going to hurt her. I had a job to do and I did not know I was going to marry her. I tried to get out of it", he said sincerely.

Paige knew Jacob loved Aria but that did not matter to her any longer. He betrayed them and he will pay.

"Where are you taking us?", Paige asked him.

He out a hand up and stopped walking. Jacob had tracking and super hearing abilities. Everyone was quiet and waiting for the next move. Noise could be heard a half of mile away in the facility; only Jacob could hear it of course. 

They moved forward slowly, two figures were fastly approaching when Sam asked "who does it sound like?"

 Jacob just listened and stood completely up. Just then they heard an explosion and the entire building was shaking.

"It's the explosion brothers", Kevin said.

"And are they going to be a problem?", Paige asked staring at Jacob.

"No they're looking for a way out", he said.

"This is the wrong way, unless you tricked me", she said pinning him to the ground with her knee in the back of his neck with his arms behind his back.

"Let him go Paige", Sam said, he was on defense.

"Or what? You want to die next?", she asked with crazed eyes. She was tired of waiting and ready to kill.

"Its okay Sam. Everyone relax. Paige could you let me go?", Jacob asked.

"Tell me what is going on first", she yelled at him. Just then one of the explosion brother ran into Sam's back and made him trip over Jacobs head.

"What the hell man", Sam yelled.

"My bad, you in our way", the one who bumped into him said.

The brothers were identical and were looking at the scene in front of them. 

"Now would be a time to let him go darl, they're on us", the other one said.

Paige let Jacob up and Kevin said, "Yo what's up guys". 

They brothers smiled and the short curly fade one said "Follow us Kevin. We know how to get out just a quick detour".

They all followed them as the guards were five minutes behind, checking rooms. The security cameras were all down thanks to Kevin's sister. Jacob could hear the guards and they were gaining on them, after seeing multiple cells unlocked and mutants gone. As they were approaching the side door to get out Kat appeared. The brothers stopped, shocked.

Jacob walked in front of them and said, "You know this is wrong we have to let them go. Come with us Kat".

Kat frowned and the explosion brothers both looked at Jacob like he just made the worst mistake.

"Her name is not Kat, she's-", the brother with the fade was cut off by Kat.

"I am Kat and you all will die if you do not get back into those cells", she said. 

When no one moved. She yelled "NOW". That got people to jump but none of them did as she said.

"You need to move now", Sam said.

"Okay" was all she said. 

Just then a large group of guards appear from all sides. They were trapped. Paige took this time to watch as she was thinking of a way to get around them. The guards went to attack, that was a start of a war. Mutants were fighting each other. Kat was standing there smiling. Paige watched her. Something about her voice seem vaguely familiar. As they were all fighting the doctors we coming with needles to sedate as many of them as he could.

Paige saw David to her left and told him to teleport her behind Kat. As he did Paige put Kat into a headlock. She did not want to kill her just knock her out enough to take her with them. Paige did not know that Kat was very smart. As Kat was being choked she shifted into her cat form and jumped on top of Paige's head. Paige went to grab her when Kat jumped on Kevin's shoulder. He was fighting two guards and threw one into a wall. She ran her nails down his back leaving gashes. He screamed out in pain. Angel heard her brother and saw what Kat had done. She used her electrical powers to send a wave to Kat, which sent her flying across the room.

The explosion brother with the fade saw his brother fighting four guards and one of them was about to freeze him, when the curly haired fade brother grabbed him by his neck and snapped it. Then, did the same to another guard who had their back to him. After those were taking care of they looked to each other, grabbed hands, Kevin saw them and knew what was about to happen.

 "Paige your shield, hurry", he yelled to her. 

Just as she was putting it up, they blew up the entire building. Hurting those who did not make it under the shield. Paige could only do so much but she made sure she got those who were on their side. Most of the other mutants were trapped under heavy pieces of the building. Kat was under the shield and was confused as to why she felt dizzy. She tried to stand once the smoke cleared a little but David grabbed her and teleported her back to Paige. Paige hit her square in the nose which sent her to sleep.

Jacob and Sam helped those who were with them and they all left what was left of the building. They led them to the submarines, Mark and Markus were there telling the Doctor they would not get pass them and they will return Kat to him. The Doctor was pleased.

"Plus we have something they want", Mark said after hanging up with the Doctor, looking to his brother.
