He didn’t even pretend to hide it.
“What kind of experiment?” My voice came out small, hoarse.
Kade chuckled darkly, his nose dragging along the column of my throat.
“Let’s just say I’m testing the depths of the so-called mating bond.” His breath was hot against my skin. “How deep it runs. How different it feels.”
He exhaled slowly, savoring the moment.
“I wonder… if I grind against you just right, will I find out how wet you are for me?”
Heat exploded inside me.
My legs locked, my pulse jumping in my throat.
Kade laughed, the sound devastatingly cocky.
“Does it scare you?” His voice dropped to a low, seductive rasp. “The fact that I’m rock hard for you? That I could press you against a wall right now and sink so deep inside you, you’d forget your own name?”
