I was shocked to see multiple missed calls from Colsen. I couldn’t believe he dared to contact me after trying to kill me.
“Shall I give him a ring to confirm it?” I thought to myself.
Even though my brain kept warning me not to call him, my hands didn’t obey. I dialed Colsen’s mobile number and my phone near my ear.
“Sorry, the number you are trying to call is out of reach. Please try again later,” I got the following alert.
My forehead was puckered out of uncertainty. I moved the tips of my fingers across my head while trying to figure out what was going on.
