“Emmalyn’s POV” I kept moving my eyes all across the surrounding. It’s when I saw a ladder placed just not far from where I was standing. Checking four sides, I went running to the ladder and situated it near the wall. Without wasting a single second, I climbed up of it and reached the wall. I jumped from that height without a hint of fear and landed on the ground. Moving my eyes all the way to the huge road, I sighed in relief when I fully conceived myself, that despite the tight security, I got succeeded in escaping. It’s when I remembered to check the date and time. I was a day late. Rolling my eyes dramatically, I managed to stop a taxi. I gained ingress and informed the address to the hotel. I literally didn’t want to go back to my home because the psycho might kidnap me again. I didn’t know how he would react when he wakes up from his befuddled state. Even though our meeting was short, I could guarantee the man was a calm and well-mannered man. Plus point, he was extremely rich. Honestly, no girl would decline a marriage proposal from a guy like him. Well, my case was different. I wasn’t ready to stay committed. It was a huge decision for me. The thoughts kept me off-tracked from the road. I couldn’t realize when the car pulled its break in front of the large hotel. The taxi driver pressed on the horn, causing me to wake up to reality. I moved my eyes out of the window to study the surroundings before finally stepping out of the car. “Hey miss, where’s the payment,” the man asked while bulging his head from the lowered window glasses. I turned around to face him. It’s when I got to see a clear picture of his face. Hell, wow! He was a young one with irresistible facial features. A sheepish grin escaped from my mouth when I replied, “wasn’t the trip free?” “I will contact police if you try to act smartly with me,” he warned and opened them before getting out of the car. Not only he got a manly face cut, his body was well built. I marched nearer to him and apologized while adding, “I don’t have a change. Sorry, but I was desperately in need to flee from that area.” “That’s much better if you don’t have change. You can pay me the whole you have.” Crossing his arms around his manly chest, he wiggled his brows in a teasing manner. “Can you give me your contact info? I promise I will return the money,” I requested politely while showcasing my white sets of teeth. “Okay, but I will agree if you show me your ID or passport,” he laid his condition. “I don’t have my card at this moment. But if you are that helpless, take me to the nearest ATM,” I suggested scornfully.
