Ep.13

“Emmalyn’s POV” “But still,” he trailed off and took something from a drawer of the side table placed near the bed. “I came all the way from London to here, just to meet you, babe. I have heard lots of compliments on you. Time to see it.” He turned around showing the knife in his hand. For a moment, I felt frightened to witness him inching closer to me while pointing the street knife towards me. “Don’t worry babe, I won’t harm you like this. Women are made for men... to use in bed.” He winked before cutting the rope tied on my hand. When he completely freed my hand, I gave him a punch on his stomach. At the suddenness of the event, he fell on the floor. “Woah! I didn’t see that coming.” He was about to get up when I placed my feet on his arm from which he was holding the knife. I forcefully took the knife from his hand and pointed it towards him. He laughed while adding, “Imma just trying to treat you well knowing you killed my father, but you’re trying to act smart.” “Well, I don’t hit women. I do respect them until they are in bed.” He winked before adding, “on the bed, I don’t care whether you cry or laugh, I will satisfy my need.” “In your dreams.” Rolling my eyes dramatically, I threw the knife out of the window and gave another round of punches on his face. “Babe, don’t be a b***h,” even though his nostrils were bleeding, he managed to stay calm. I was lost in his dark; black orbs when he held my hand and pulled me on top of him. He held my face with the palms of his hands and kept staring at my eyes. I couldn’t puzzle out his exact motive of capturing me here. If revenge was what he wanted, wasn’t he acting awkwardly? Lost in my eyes, he uttered, “how could someone be so beautiful?” Oh god! I wasn’t ready for another drama. If he says love at first sight, I won’t leave any teeth in his mouth. “I wanted to take revenge on my dad’s murder, but at first sight...,” I interrupted causing him to cut short his words, “no, no, no. Don’t you dare to complete the sentence!” The way I promised, I pressed my tightly clenched fist on his mouth. Luckly him, no tooth got broke, but it caused bleeding. “Ahh,” he winced in pain causing his grip on my waist to lose. I took the chance and got up to my feet. “I didn’t kill your dad. But I should say, he deserved it!” Marching away from him, I kept explaining the whole incident. “It’s your dad who brutally killed both my parents. Just because, they refused to give the land.” I ceased my steps while crossing my arms across my chest.
