“Emmalyn’s POV” “Be ready to eat some turf and get whomped,” I blurted when he was lying on his back. I took the position for my signature move. I placed my knees skillfully on top of his back and tilted them closer. I was about to slip my hand under his arm, but he attacked. He locked my neck, causing severe pain all over my spinal column; kubi kudaki. This could kill the opponent if applied enough pressure. But, I wasn’t someone who would give up that easily. I reached my hand to his face. Pressing his nose with my palms while generating enough pressure. He growled in pain, causing him to loosen his grip. At this point, I had lost all my mercy. What I targeted was winning. I took the change and slipped from his grip. I added the power of an upwards swing while concentrating all of the power on my heels. If I stomped on the person’s head or chest, it was guaranteed the man in front of me would be dead. Thinking of how lethal this move would be, I axe kicked the man’s knee, causing him to fall off guard. I flipped him on his stomach and performed my signature move. The referee blew the whistle and the host announced me as the winner. Once again, the cheers and applause enlightened my mood. I left the battleground early as I had classes the next morning. I was riding my scooter towards my house. I literally didn’t want to spend the night at home. My purpose was to pack a few clothes and shift to a room from the hotel which lies not so far from the house. When I parked my scooter near the house, I saw a silver-colored van positioned near the entrance of the house. I hurried my pace and went inside the house. The door was unlocked, but there was no visible damage to the door. As far as I remember, I left it locked when I went to the hospital. When I stepped inside the house, I sensed someone’s presence. Who could that be? Micheal? Was he here to forcefully grab me from the cave because of my harsh behavior? I couldn’t go much further when a man covered my face with a handkerchief. I sensed a spirit; a minty smell which caused sudden giddiness. In no time, I was befuddled, but I strived to defend myself. I pulled free from the man’s hand. That’s when I realized it wasn’t a single man; there were around 20 other men all dressed in full black. Soon, gloominess conquered inside my eyes, causing me to lose balance and plummet to the floor. In my befuddled state, I felt someone lifting my body up from the floor. After that, I didn’t remember anything else. ************* When I woke up from unconsciousness, I was lying on a huge bed. A warm, fluffy blanket was wrapped around my body. Realizing it was a totally unfamiliar surrounding, I moved my eyes throughout the enormous room.
