The Hidden World

It went by quietly.

The day went by quietly as usual and this is the first time in the three months that I a have sit through class attentively afraid that Darcy will jump out of nowhere. I found out later that Darcy didn’t come but why do I have a feeling that I am being spied on hmm it must be the nerves talking. Well a few more classes then I am out of here. I wonder where Daphne is and what she will be doing later in the day am I getting too clingy. If I meet her I should ask her in a casual tone and not in a clingy tone.

I am done with all the classes I should better head over to my art class I am already late I texted Daphne asking where she is but she didn’t reply I hope she is okay she must have went home since I cant find her. Oh s**t I am so late now.

Art class this place is the only place where I can find peace even though I suck at art but still it is relaxing and surprisingly there is a new student in the class and she look familiar where have I seen her well whatever I am not wasting my time thinking that I better finish my work and head for my part time job. Half way through the class it hit me BAM I remember her she is one of the top kids like Darcy wait did she send her here

“OH s**t”, I cried out loudly didn’t even know I did that until the teacher came over and asked me

“is everything ok Sid “ the art teacher said,

“ huh oh yeah I just put the wrong paint on” wait what am I even saying,

“ well whatever paint u put on it looks good “ still eyeing me if I have some loose nut in my head. I look over to her and she just smiled at me wait is that some evil smile or a mischievous smile or I will get u for what u did smile or plain old smile . I was staring at my canvas the whole time thinking the whats whens and whys until the teacher clapped her hands loudly like everyday

“okay guys class is over “

I waited till everyone went outside the class and she was still sitting in her seat slowly collecting her things . okay Sid take a deep breath head over there and get it over with it and like that I head over to and directly asked her

“ did Darcy send u here to do her dirty job of giving me some kind of lesson or something”,

Right after saying that she just burst into laughter as if I cracked a really funny joke and when she saw me losing patience she stopped laughing and she said

“girl relax and beside she isn’t some who can order me around”

“oh so u are here on your own wanting to learn sketching and painting” me asking her questioningly

“ yeah I am why cant I” she asked

“well if you are not here because of Darcy then its cool well I am going now bye” and I just ran out very slowly out of the class so it doesn’t look like I am running.

Stormy’ s view

I enrolled in the art class today and luckily my sources let me as the seats for this art class were all filled and they made a special exception for me. Hmm it looks like I got here early or is she late since I see an empty seat. Did Darcy decided to show up after class I was lost in my train of thought until I hear

‘sorry I am late.’ And enters the new girl a.k.a. Sid. As she walked in our eyes meet and for a second or two she stopped I guess she is trying to remember if she knows me but goes to her seat it doesn’t look like she knows me or does she I’ll know sooner or later.

I guess she does know me cause right in the middle of class she shouted “OH s**t” and give the lamest excuse of why she said that and our eyes met and I just smiled knowingly she would be on edge which she was since she was staring at her canvas the whole time lost in thoughts.

When the class ended I was taking my sweet time to collect my things just to make her nervous but I was surprised by her direct boldness of asking me if I was one of Darcy’s minions. I burst into laughter as I was posing as one but when I saw her being impatient for my reply I told her to relax and told her that Darcy is beneath me and I am just here to learn sketching. She still look at me as if I was lying but didn’t care much knowing that I am not Darcy’s minion said cool ran out slowly out of class so it doesn’t look like she is running to any other person it would look like she was walking out proudly but I can tell cause I have an eye for reading people’s body language. She’s one heck of a girl I will give her points on being brave and strong she will fit in perfectly with us. I cant wait to tell others about her I know they will really like her. I know Max will get upset with me and lecture me about interacting outside our circle since we are not allowed. But I will take all of Max’s long boring lectures if it leads me to being friends to an actual normal person …
