Both the sisters got ready to go to Lisa's party at the lake house. Bess was wearing a

pink tube tank top with a blue denim short skirt. And Liz opted for a navy blue shimmer

dress. She finished it off with a diamond stud around her neck while Bess had huge loop

earrings around her ear.

When they reached the party it was already in full swing with all of Lisa's friends there.

" We took a boat ride n came " said Bess. " It really is a lovely lake side cottage" said

Liz. " N look at those golden light decorations all around this cruise boat. Its all looking

so chic " said Bess.

" U both girls looking too good " said Lisa. She was wearing a small black dress

with cream coloured pearls around her neck.

Let me introduce you to a French fashion designer he's here. He's cute ". said Lisa.

She dragged them to a middle aged man with a rugged kind of good of looks. He

seemed someone very affluential. And he was.

" And this is Mr Gianni " said Lisa. " hes having a fashion show in California this week"

. Gianni took an instant liking to the two girls n was already talking with them. The beer

was flowing very generously and the two sister's especially Bess was already tipsy.

" Excuse me " said Bess , "I will find Lisa and come in a minute " said Bess n left

the designer n Liz talking.

Lisa was far away with a group. The sun was setting around the sky. Bess thought it

was a very beautiful view n was bending a bit around the edge of the bigg boat totake a

more better look n somehow lost balance n fell

Help she shouted but no one could hear her with the music playing so loudly. She tried

to swim but the water had a current & was too cold.

The cruise boat sped far away.

" Oh no I'm going to die here by drowning. Or I could swim to the shore. But it's far n it's

an island. I will die in the wilderness. It will take some time for this people to realise that

in am not the boat ! "

Here Liz felt some gut feeling of concern about Bess. This two sisters were more like

friends to each other n if either of them was in trouble the other just knew it like a radar.

" Have u seen Bess " Liz asked Lisa.

" The last time i saw her she was near the railings said a guy.

Both Lisa n Liz rushed towards the end of the huge boat. The lake seemed vast.

" What we do now " Liz started panicking " I'm sure she has fallen down in the waters .."

" Hey look something's out there " said Tina a college mate. Few guys rushed forward

n saw a head bobbing a bit far off.

" It's Bess " shouted Lisa. Immediate ly two security man came with a life boat n saved

Bess.

" I have got a pneumonia " said Bess . "No wonder with ur misadventure " replied Liz.

" What would have happened if you had not come on time " said Bess to Liz n

hugged her.

Liz hugged her back.

" Next time don't drink so much " said Liz.

Lizs phone beeped . There was a message from Ned. " He says he , Tom, Jason you Wow " said Bess. " But please no adventures this time " replied Liz.

" But surely the Exciting experiences will continue I suppose " said Liz smiling.

The moon had fully come upon this Riverdale town as this two girls were discussing

about their college exams and the cruise .Wow " said Bess. " But please no adventures this time " replied Liz.

The Weekend Trip,.

As all this four friends were going on a weekend trip to a lonely cottage in the woods on a

rainy night. It was raining very heavily. There was thunder & lightening. " Really this

looks literally like a scene out of a horror movie " said Tina rolling her eyes. " Co me on

dont overwork ur imagination all that stuff happens only in movies and not in real life "

said Betty.

" Was it such a good idea by the way to come on this adventure by the way I mean

we are just in the middle of the jungle right now guys said "

Tina. " Please let me focus on the driving all of you " said Tom. " Good job pal " laughed

Jake n thumped him on the back.

They were all close friends. Tina was a dark brown haired slim beautiful girl with intense

eyes and an impulsive persona. Betty was a blonde slightly plump pleasant peaceful

girl. While Jake was the nice looker but the college clown prankster. And Tom was a

handsome dark black straight haired suave guy. Tom and Tina were dating.

" So what we say what if someone takes a hike now will u stop for him " said Jake

laughingly. " Shut up Jake " , said Tom rolling his eyes " don't scare the girls. " " Have you

seen ur uncles cottage " asked Betty. Nope replied Tom " but he told it's pretty in an

isolated area so better lock all doors in the night before sleeping. "

For a long they all just sat sometimes talking n half the time quiet watching the forests.

Suddenly there was a jerk and the car just stopped. " What was that what's wrong " said

Betty. " I think it's a flat tyre " interjected Tom dejectedly after getting a look at it.

" So what we do now. Call the garage from ur cell " told Tina. " It's showing no signal "

said Tom looking bit weary. " Guys this is not a good sign I'm telling you " said Betty. "

All right enough let's just wait in the car for some passing help " said Jake. " For all we know there's no chance of anyone passing by here in this forest ,. in middle of the night.

So they all got inside the car and sat quietly. Mulling over what they had gotten

themselves into. Only the sound of the car screenwiper could be heard as the rain fell

more heavily. With nothing to do else so they all just sat quietly. " Hey what about sharing some scary 

stories . " said Jake. " No way it's already getting spooky this situation here. " told Betty.

She was shivering with the cold. " Have you heard about that serial kill rumours he was

supposed to be in the woody side area no " told Jake. Tina gave a scream whats the

matter, " we are in woody area side now .. see in the gps. " it's okay don't worry ee

have kept the car doors locked " winked Tom.

There was a shrill moan breaking the nights silence, coming from the forest. " What was

that it did not exactly sounded like an animal " said Betty. " Come on ur imaginations

running riot. said Tina.

" Hey look I can see some fort type a bit far ahead " said Jake pointing to his right side n

a little ahead. " Shut up now u r planning to visit some fort in this storm quietly sit in the

car now " scolded Betty. Again that shrill cry could be heard. It was bone chilling. All of them were silent for a few minutes. "Guys put off ur flashlights n sit quiet. We don't want to attract any unwanted attention here " said Tom in hushed whispers.

So they all quietly waited down as they realised that something was out in the darkness

in the woods.. What the hell was that they all shouted. Tom said he will get out n c what its, but Tina 

pulled him back by saying " no font go out it could be some wild animal or ghost. "

" Dont be silly he got out n saw it was nothing but just a tree branch which had fallen

because of the wind. They all laughed nervously.

" I'm feeling cold. On the car heater" said Tina. " It's not working properly "but little heat

it can give us , it's lot better then getting chilled here " said Tom. " Wait are we sitting

here till morning like this " asked Tina.

" Yes in morning when rain stops we can walk till the garage or maybe some vehicle

will pass by " told Tom.

" Hey I have an idea let's pass the time by telling some stories ok let's do it "

exclaimed Tom.

You know about that Man who had a similar experience of car breaking wait I will tell u

his story said Tom and started ..

"Wait I have an urgent nature call " said Jake " I will come in a

minute." " And don't go too far " said Betty it's dangerous. Well you see guys this man he too has a car breakdown in the middle of night in the 

forest on a rainy night. so he went to a lonesome house which was nearby.to make a

call to some garage.

When he had entered the house it was a weird pair the husband n wife. Wife told him to

use the phone n said go ahead.

When he had just reached near the phone it was showing no connection.

The wife said " my husband likes receiving guests here but as he's dead for the last five

years he's spirit keeps me company."

The man dropped the phone in fear " what ur husband's dead then who was that with u

now. "

The woman said which man there's no man here.

The guy said I just saw him with u when I

entered.

N told that he's leaving right now from the house as he was feeling very much spooky n

pretty shaken.

The woman immediately started laughing saying don't fear my husband n i were just

pranking u he's very much alive n you did saw him in real.

Then too I will leave he said n hurried away.

The woman was standing at the outside gate asking whose car is that the man said it's mine.

And he just passes through the woman n stood in front of his car smiling devilishly his

face looked dp dark n evil.

He said " u were joking but I'm not I really m dead

." ' In a car accident long back ! "  Wow that was spooky " said Bess " but really u shouldn't have told this story now im feeling g really very scared. "

Me too said Tina.

" Heyits more them fifteen minutes where's Jake gone " Betty said.

" Hes gone too long. Wait I will check n come " said Tom. " I am also coming with you "

said Tina. " I too m not sitting here alone " told Betty.

" Guys I'm feeling worried where's Jake gone. Nothing has happened to him no"..

There was a terrible scream which pierced ' the air. They all were frozen by it. It was of

Jake. They all ran out and checked outside from where the voice came. They were shouting   name.

He Jake was lying on the grass,. eyes close. They all started panicking & shaking him to

check what was the matter with him.

Suddenly he opened his eyes laughing. "That was a very bad joke " Tina said.

" It was fun but u should have seen urself the way you were panicking " said Jake. "

One day you will get in real trouble and no one will help u see " told Tom.

They all went and sat in their car again. " I m feeling sleepy I think we should just sleep "

Betty said. " No I'm not at all sleepy someone has to keep a watch here " aid Tom.

A muffled roar could be heard from a bit afar. What was that .. it sounded like a chain

saw. " Really from where a chainsaw sound can come here ? "

Toms face had a grim expression. " Let's hide in the trees quick ,. it's not safe in the car

here. " he said. " Y but " said Betty. " Do as i say ". & they all got out and hid in the trees

on the right side.

From far in the woods a huge tall man came out wearing a distorted horrifying mask

and carrying a on chainsaw. He came near their car and was checking it. Breaking their car windows maniacally.

" Oh my god it's the serial killer , what we do now .. " they all thought. It was a

blood curdling feeling which they all fell at once.

If we had not got out fast out of there I dread thinking what would have happened

whispered Jake. " Shh dont make noise " said Tom.

And at that same moment Betty snizzed. And the killer heard it. He looked exactly in

their direction. They all froze. He came rushing towards the trees where they were hiding with the roaring chainsaw in  Stay silent n calm.that psycho if he's unable to find us will go ' assured Tom. " Only if 

it was that easy , it's like a living nightmare I still don't believe it " hushed Tina. Betty

gestured them to keep quiet.

There were spiders there on the wall big ones. Jason kept his palm on Tinas mouth to

prevent her from screaming.

But a branch cracked beneath their feet and the killer heard it n followed the voice n

came on them. Screaming they all fled. Tom gave him a kick, he fell forward with his

chainsaw.

They all ran. He picked himself up in two seconds and followed them. He pulled Jason

by his hand. Tina turned back to help him but Tom n Betty said there's nothing much

they can do right now so run. The last they heard him was screaming.

Tina n Betty' were sobbing. " Did he killed Jason she asked. " I don't know guys said

Tom looking total weary n dejected. They were standing huddled in a group under

a,forest tree.

" We have to go n help him " said Betty. The other two looked at her with fear

and sadness. Tina screamed and they all ran from there.

He saw them n started chasing. Into the dark woods with the rain falling heavily they all

just ran with their full energy. Not daring to look back.

Sound of his machine was increasing as it came nearer & nearer.

" Hey fast let's go n hide in the fort area " said Jake. Yes they all said n entered the

ruin fort area. It was more darker here.

" Fast on ur flashlights " said Tom. " I think I found the perfect hiding spot u see that mini

opening there we can hide inside it for sometime " said Tina breathlessly. Yes fast let's go in n they all hurried side the tunnel type structure n stayed quiet n still. 

Only the sound of their heavy breathing could be heard.

The chainsaw sound started coming nearer n nearer. He had reached exactly to where

they were hiding now. They all laid frozen afraid to even look at him

His eyes were were searching wildly. Hope he doesn't come looking here Betty said What's the time now asked Tom it's 4 am in the night. " What we do now where to go 

I seriously shouldn't have come on this trip " said Tina.

Again from far away they heard the chain saw noise. He was coming. From far a

dilapidated structure of a house could be seen let's hide there.

They ran towards it. When they reached it Tina collided with someone she gave a shriek.

It was Jake! " U r alive we are so happy what happened. We were so at loss about you ",

said they. Tom was coming for you back there.

" I ran from him there somehow n hid here " Jake said. " Hurry hide somewhere he's

coming " Jake said n they hid in a bedroom. As the house was empty n locked the door.

Very soon he entered the house n was furiously trying to break the door Stay silent n calm.that psycho if he's unable to find us will go ' assured Tom. " Only if 

it was that easy , it's like a living nightmare I still don't believe it " hushed Tina. Betty

Hurriedly they broke the glass n climbed out the window n ran towards the road. They

themselves were clueless where they were going.

" I remember that killer story anyone in the mood for it said Jake trying to lighten the

mood. " Shut up we are running for our lives here " Tina replied.

The maniac had seen them climbing out through the window. And now was hot on their

trail.

" How long can we run like this there's no place to hide he will catch up with us " said

Betty.

" see some path " Tom said, it was a road they ran towards it stumbling then picking

themselves up.

Now what. From far afar a huge truck was coming. " I don't believe it " exclaimed Tom,

they all started waving their hands for it to stop. This was their chance.

But it just drove past them.

Their hearts sank. The van had halted a bit ahead. They went towards it n explained

the driver the situation asking for his hekp.

He was a burly looking man. " Get inside fast " he said n they drove off ..

Last thing they saw was the maniac who was standing on the path looking at them with

chainsaw.

" What were you guys doing here at this time of night " the driver asked. " It's a,long

story " Tom said.
