Happy Birthday and Goodbye

The whole pack was busy preparing for Alex's birthday party. I already packed my things last night and decided to leave when the party begins.

I finished hanging the decorations in the living room and went to see uncle Cody,the Alpha. He knows that I'm leaving and so does Luna Bella. They also know that their son is my mate. Sadly, it was Alex' decision. I knocked on the office door and opened it.

"Hi Uncle grumpy." I greeted when I saw his grumpy face."Cheer up would you,it's your son's birthday."

"Forgive him Tamara,he's just stressed from work."Luna Bella explained and gave me a hug."Now,how can we help you?” She asked.

"Uhm I just came to say goodbye,I'm leaving when the party starts." I said.

"Can't you stay for a while,he's your mate,he might look for you."Uncle Cody said looking up from his papers. I shook my head.

"It's better this way,for both of us." I said.

"Oh Tamara,we're going to miss you so much."Luna Bella said giving me another hug.

"Yeah,I'm going to miss you too. Don't worry I don't plan on leaving forever 'cause I'm not planning to be a rouge."I said as I returned the hug. After an hour of listening to Uncle Cody's lectures and advices plus Luna Bella' s very long food and stress advices,we finally said our goodbyes.

I climbed the stairs to my room and opened the door as his scent hit me like a gush of refreshing wind. And there he is, sitting in my bed. He's wearing a tux that made my heartbeat a bit uneven, he looks so handsome. I smiled and closed the door.

"Hi."I greeted, leaning against the door.

"Hey are you going somewhere?"He said gesturing to the luggage I packed last night. I shook my head.

"I'm just switching rooms."I lied.I hate lying especially to him,it hurts me,I wonder if he can sense that I'm lying.

"Oh okay."He said.

"Happy birthday!"I said as cheerful as I can.

"Thanks."He said and came closer. He looked me in the eye and kissed me passionately which I returned with the same passion and desire. We broke apart and he hugged me, my hands eventually refused to hug him back out of guilt and I let them hang on my sides, he didn't notice.

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it." He said.

"I know." I said and finally hugged him back, tighter. We stayed like that for a while before breaking apart.

He looked at me with a questioning gaze when I stared at him for a while, memorizing his handsome face and etching it in my heart and brain. I just returned his gaze with a smile and pulled him closer, initiating a kiss for the first time. We broke apart and I fixed his tie.

"You have to go,the party's starting in a while." I looked at him, hesitating. "Listen,do me a favor and be careful all the time."I finally said, my last words of love.

"Sure."He said and gave me a kiss before walking to the door. "See you at the party." With that he disappeared and I fell to the floor, crying.

I looked around my room, I'm gonna miss this place and the person who was here.

"Lyra are you ready?"I mindlinked my wolf.

"Yes,let's go."she said.

I carried my bags and left my room,closing the door behind me.

6 hours later

I stared at the pregnancy test in my hands,it was positive.

It was morning when I arrived here at the motel. Once I've checked in,I ran to the bathroom and vomitted. I noticed that I've been like this for 3 days already. I thought it was just probably the nerve getting to me for running away but... I had a suspicion so I went and bought a pregnancy test downstairs and here I am staring at a positive pregnancy test.

I dropped it on the ground and held my head with my hands and cried. This wasn't supposed to happen. This changes everything.

What am I going to do?
