A faint beeping sound drew Desman from his sleep. He rolled over and tried to turn off the alarm clock, but the beeping didn’t stop. It wasn’t the clock he realized. Maybe there was a message on his cell phone. He looked over at Morgan who was still in a dead sleep next to him. He rolled out of bed and fumbled for his shorts. He pulled them on and stumbled around in the dark to find his jeans. Desman found his cell phone and checked it. The beeping wasn’t his phone, so what was it? He listened for a moment and realized it was coming from the living room. Desman walked out of the bedroom and spotted Morgan’s laptop on the desk against the wall.
