“So, what are your plans today?” Arius asked over his coffee whilst I ate my breakfast at the table. His expression was relaxed, although I could tell he was trying hard to hide his need to know what I would be doing while he visited the castle. I gave him an amused smirk and leaned back on the bar stool.
“Oh, I don’t know, probably go to lunch with some friends and then hit up a club, perhaps get a new tattoo or piercing,” I said casually and saw him freeze as he lifted his coffee to his mouth. I giggled at his face and he shook his head. “No, but seriously, I think I might go over to Emma’s cabin later. Just to catch up,” I said carefully.
