Cora’s POV Packing lightly had never been a strength of mine. I’ve always lived by the idea that one should be prepared for any occasion and there was no excuse for substandard attire. The atrocities that the younger generations wear and call ‘fashion’ nowadays had me ready to gauge my eyes out. This trip should keep me for no more than a few days but I had hoped to reconnect with some old friends while visiting the UK. It had been many years since I had travelled anywhere. When you are nearly three hundred years old and have seen the world many times over, there is little desire to explore. I was quite content in my solidarity with the chaos and madness this world has to offer. It helped to keep myself concealed as I had gained many enemies over my lifetime.
