Mated by Fate

Chapter Two: across the horizon

The Alpha of Bright Sky Pack received a call from a neighboring pack's Alpha, warning him of a rogue pack that had been causing trouble in the area. The rogue pack had been attacking other packs and stealing their resources, causing concern for the safety of Bright Sky Pack. The neighboring Alpha offered to send some of his own pack members to help defend Bright Sky. Two of the Alpha's sons, Reyo and Evan, were sent to help. As soon as Rey laid eyes on the brothers, she felt an immediate attraction to them. She couldn't understand why she felt this way, especially since she was already mated to Seth.

"Dad, what's going on? Who are these guys?" she asked.

"Rey, this is Reyo and Evan. They're from the neighboring pack. Their Alpha has offered to send some of his pack members to help us defend against the rogue pack," the Alpha replied.

"Why do I feel so drawn to them?" Rey thought to herself.

"Rey, what's wrong? You look upset," Seth said.

"I don't know, Seth. I just can't shake this feeling I have when I look at them," Rey replied.

"Don't worry, my love. We're mated. Nothing can change that," Seth said.

The next few days were tense as the pack prepared for the potential attack from the rogue pack. Rey couldn't help but feel a pull towards both Reyo and Evan, which only made her more confused. She found herself spending more time with them, trying to understand her feelings.

"Reyo, can I talk to you for a moment?" Rey asked.

"Of course, Rey. What's on your mind?" Reyo replied.

"I don't know. I've just been feeling really confused lately. I feel a pull towards you and Evan, but I don't understand why. I'm already mated to Seth," Rey said.

"Rey, I think you might be feeling a mating bond. Evan and I are also experiencing the same thing," Reyo said.

"What? That's not possible. I'm already mated to Seth," Rey replied.

"I understand that this is a lot to take in, but sometimes the universe has other plans for us. We need to talk to your Alpha and figure out what to do," Reyo said.

Rey's world was turned upside down as she grappled with the possibility of being mated to both Reyo and Evan. She knew that she had to make a decision, but the thought of hurting either of them made her heart ache. As the rogue pack closed in, Rey knew that she had to make a choice, and fast.

Rey knew that time was running out. She had to make a decision and fast. She talked with her Alpha, Seth and Reyo and Evan about her feelings and her confusion. It was a difficult conversation but it was necessary. She told them that she needed time to think and decide who she wanted to be with.

The rogue pack attacked the pack and there was a fierce battle. Rey fought alongside Reyo and Evan, her heart beating wildly as she thought about her decision. As they fought, she realized that she couldn't lose either of them. In the heat of the battle, she finally made her choice.

After the battle was won, Rey approached Reyo and Evan with a heavy heart. "I'm sorry," she said, "I've made my decision and I choose to be with..."

Evan: "Who did you choose, Rey?" Evan asked, his eyes filled with hope.

Rey: "I choose... both of you." Rey said with a deep breath.

Reyo and Evan looked at each other in shock, then back at Rey.

Reyo: "Are you sure, Rey? This is not something that is done often in our pack."

Rey: "I know, but I can't bear the thought of losing either of you. I love you both and I want to be with both of you."

Seth was standing a few feet away, his face was filled with hurt and disappointment.

Seth: "I understand, Rey. I love you and I want you to be happy. I'll always be here for you."

Rey: "Seth, I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you. I hope we can still be friends."

Seth: "Of course, Rey. I'll always care about you."

The Alpha of the Bright Sky Pack was surprised by Rey's decision, but he could see the love and devotion in her eyes. He knew that the bond between Rey, Reyo, and Evan was strong and true, and that they would do whatever it takes to protect and care for each other.

The pack was in shock and some members had difficulty accepting the new arrangement, but over time they came to see the love and devotion between the three of them and realized that it was a unique and special bond.

Rey, Reyo and Evan were happy together, they shared everything and supported each other through thick and thin. They knew that their love was unconventional, but they didn't care. They were willing to face any challenge that came their way, as long as they were together.

The rogue pack was defeated and the Bright Sky Pack was safe, but the journey for Rey, Reyo and Evan had just begun. They faced many challenges and obstacles, but their love for each other was the foundation that kept them strong. They were a unique trio and they were happy.

Years passed and the trio's love for each other only grew stronger. They faced many challenges, but they always found a way to overcome them. They were a strong and united pack and they were respected by all. They had children and their love and devotion was passed down to the next generation.

One day, an elderly wolf approached Rey and told her of how he'd seen her future. He said that she would have three cubs with two different fathers. Her first son would be born in spring when the snow melts away, but his life would end at birth due to complications from being born during a harsh winter. His brother would live on and grow up to be a strong wolf who lived a long and happy life. The last cub would be born in summer after the leaves fall off of the trees. She'd be a feisty little one but she would inherit both parents' strength. She would never die young, but her death would come much later in her life.

"You're not to tell anyone what you've heard," he warned. "It must remain between us."

Rey nodded and thanked him for his warning. She left the elder wolf and went home where she told Reyo and Evan what the old wolf had told her. They were sad about losing their son at such a young age, but they were happy that their daughter would survive. They were proud of their son and wanted nothing but happiness for him.

Reyo and Evan talked to the elders of the pack and they decided that the family should leave the Bright Sky Pack so that their child could live a peaceful and happy life without having to deal with the hardships that the previous generations had endured.
