TRISTEN It had been a bald faced lie. And Tristen did not lie. At least not before her he didn't. To lie to someone you either had to care about them or fear them. And there was only one person in Tristen’s life who could have a claim to either. And even then, he still feared his father too much to bother trying to lie to his face. Yet here he is, about to lose another part of himself he never thought he’d change to her and he didn’t even care. And that was the part he hated the most. The truth was, he had followed her there.
