I looked at him like he was nuts, all around her I heard my pack members growling and snarling at him. None of them were going to let him get anywhere near me.
“And if I go with you now, how do I really know that you will let everyone live?” I asked and watched as he smirked at me.
“That's just a chance you will have to take.” Kevin replied, still smirking and I pretended to think for a little, making him think that he was going to win and get what he wanted.
“Well, in that case the answer is no. I would rather stand with my family than go with you.” I said and Kevin’s face changed into one of anger and hatred. He growled so loudly that it made the ground shake under our feet, but that didn't scare me one bit.
