Karen’s P.O.V
On the walk down to the pack house Justin and I were both quiet and I think that the guard could sense how nervous and confused we were because he kept looking at us. Justin held my hand and kept squeezing it to try and calm me down.
“It's okay, Karen. The white witch told us we would be safe here and you trust her, don't you?” Justin asked, mind-linking me and I nodded.
“Yes, I trust her, but aren't you confused as to how they knew we were coming? It seems strange to me and it's making me anxious, how do we know that this isn't a trap?” I replied and he shook his head. He knew I was right, but what could we do?
