The sun was shining through the window and the beams of light were shining brightly on my face, waking me up. I felt around the bed for National, but I couldn't feel him, he wasn't in bed. I sat up, thinking he might be in the bathroom, but after waiting for a while he never came out. I got out of bed, went to the bathroom and quickly showered before drying off and going back into the bedroom to get dressed. I decided on wearing my jeans and a sweater as it was a little chilly this morning, then I put on my shoes and walked downstairs. I went into National’s office and then the kitchen, but he wasn't in either. What the hell? Did he leave again without telling me?
