“So what do you think Sullivan?”
I am pulled away from my thoughts at the sounds of my Majors voice.
“Do you think you’re going to re-enlist?”
I haven’t thought much about re-enlisting since Ellie broke things off with me. She said she didn’t want to stand in the way of my career. But was this a career I really wanted to stay in?
I’ve talked to Rogers every chance I got to keep tabs on Ellie and to see how he was fairing outside of military life. He got a job with the Tybee Island PD. Its not as exciting as the military, but he enjoys it.
The thought of what I would do if I chose not to re-enlist crosses my mind. I guess I could try and become a police officer. Heck maybe I could just set up shop and sell boogie boards on the beach. All I know is th
