Chapter Sixteen The rain came down in light pats as the fire outside the chateau blazed. I watched from the window as Geraint stoked the flames, keeping them burning bright as the fire consumed Lady Merida’s body. “He would’ve died if I hadn’t done it,” Gwin said. “But it’s dark magic,” Arthur said. Gwin shook her head. “I don’t believe magic has a light or dark side.
