She then remembered where she had seen them before. It was two months ago in the Vareen international airport parking lot. Binna had gone to pick her boyfriend Jack Watson up at the airport. He was coming back to Vareen after studying four years overseas. Binna Wara stood in the baggage claim area of Vareen Airport as she waited for her boyfriend to come airplane. Other people were also waiting for their loved ones. The sky was blue and beautiful, the sun was going down gradually, the evening breeze was gently blowing Binna’s hair in all directions, exposing the flawless fair skin of her shoulders. Binna was attracting attention from people around the area. She didn’t even notice she was attracting too much attention. All her focus was on seeing her boyfriend, whom she had not seen for four years. Jack Watson, her boyfriend of four years, had gone abroad to study and was finally coming back today. Binna sighted Jack. She was very excited, but her excitement was soon cut short when she saw another woman holding Jack intimately as they came out to the baggage claim area. Binna swallowed her saliva hard, took in a deep breath, closed and opened her eyes. These were all done to enable her get a grip on herself. Maybe the woman was just an acquaintance, or an ordinary friend. Even though they were too intimate with each other, she would not make conclusions until he introduced the woman to her. She muttered all her willpower to smile and cover up her discomfort as her boyfriend and the unknown woman approached her. She made to hug Jack, but he stopped her with his free hand. Jack freed his hand from the woman who was holding him intimately, he dragged Binna to a corner and scolded her. “Why did you dress like a w***e?” This was the first statement that came out of his mouth after dragging her to another side. “A w***e?” Binna asked in a shocked whisper as she blinked her one-mile-long eyelashes. Binna was very shocked at what Jack said. She took another look at herself again, but did not see anything that made her look like a w***e. “Yes a w***e, when did you start wearing short skirts exposing your long legs? Look at your shoulders, they are almost bare showing your flesh. Look at how you made up your face, attracting attention from d**k, Tom and Harry. I remember giving you a men’s wig to wear and always covering your hair. I remember giving you an artificial face scar to make you look ugly and attract less attention from men. But look at you ignoring everything I instructed you to do. You are just proud of yourself by exposing your body to other men, letting men know how beautiful you are. Who knows what you have been doing behind my back these past four years?” Binna was more hurt than shocked, although she was timid sometimes and always found it difficult to have open confrontation in public, she could not allow Jack to continue to tear into her without her defending herself. She controlled the tears welling up in her long eyelashes, and mustered some words as she replied sourly. “I have been wearing a men’s wig and putting on a face disguise for four years, as you instructed me, I …” Jack didn’t allow her to finish, as he said with a snort. “If you have been following my instructions, why did you suddenly wear these today?” Thank goodness the tears did not come down. She replied to him mildly, “I had thought you would be happy to see me in my natural self today.” “I don’t have time to argue with you. Where is the car you came to pick me up with?” Binna was speechless. A car? It is not as if Jack didn’t know she had no car. Why he was trying to embarrass her baffled her. Jack was very kind and loving before going overseas. Even in calls and video calls, he was always loving. Why did he change overnight? It could be the woman clinging to his hand. Binna replied in an embarrassed tone, “I don’t have a car; I didn’t know who to borrow from.” “You don’t have a car, you work your ass out, but you can’t afford a small car.” “I'm just a part-time worker in my company. I couldn’t afford a car. Besides, my younger brother is not getting any better, any buck I make goes into his medical care.” “The usual excuse, so what did you come to pick me up with?” Binna replied sullenly “my power bike. “You came to pick me up with that old power bike that is too big for you? You are a girl for crying out loud! Have I not told you to stop riding that outdated stuff? Anyways, go home with your power bike, this lady and I will find our way home. Make sure to put on the artificial scar on your face and a wig also, wear loose trousers and shirts, and stop attracting unnecessary attention from men. And don’t remove any of them without my permission.” Having said that, Jack went back to where the other lady was standing, took her hand and left the airport. Binna watched them with a lost expression. After a brief hesitation, she ran after them, “Jack don’t you think I have the right to know the lady clinging to you?” Although the lady, Rose Ander clinging to Jack was sophisticated and beautiful, her beauty can’t hold a candle to Binna’s. Jack replied. “You are not qualified to know who she is, just go home and be obedient. I don’t like the way men are staring at you.” Binna was visibly annoyed, she balled her fists in anger. ‘When has it become a crime to be pretty?’ Jack has also refused to introduce the lady to him, keeping her in the dark about his relationship with the woman. Binna felt a headache at that moment. She became afraid, ‘what if Jack abandons her for a richer lady?’ She has nothing going for her; a poor girl from the countryside, with a sick brother, a dead mother and a vagabond father, no relations. How can she compare to rich, sophisticated women? The only asset she had was her gorgeous face, yet Jack would not allow her to show her face to the world. Her gorgeous face was the only thing that made Jack want to marry her. People were staring at her, she was red in the face out of embarrassment. She wondered if people heard her argument with her boyfriend. Binna marched like a wounded lion to her power bike, her anger was seen on her face. Binna knew she couldn’t stand up to Jack, she loved Jack so much, however he treated her, she would endure it. She was simply a Simp for Jack. Binna’s mother died some years ago, when she was 16 and her younger brother Henry was 12 years old. That same year, her father was accused of murder, and he ran away to an unknown city. The people who were after her father came after them. They made her younger brother Henry lame and blind. She was not at home. She took her younger brother and ran to another city. The first person she met at Vareen City was Jack Watson. She told him her story, he helped her and her brother and suggested she wear a disguise. When Binna turned 20, Jack saw how beautiful Binna had become, he proposed to be her boyfriend and husband later. Before leaving for abroad to study, he made her continue to wear a disguise, since it prevented men from chasing her. Out of gratitude for his kindness, Binna fell heavily in love with Jack. Binna was always ready to forgive Jack of any offence. With anger in her heart, Binna mounted her power bike in one go, holding the throttle and handgrip together, she gave the bike a gig-gig-gig kick, marching the pedal with force. She flew into the road. After riding for just a few seconds, Binna rammed her power bike into an on-coming vehicle. Binna and her bike tumbled and fell by the roadside. Binna struggled to stand on the ground. The driver of the car came out immediately, putting his two hands on his waist, he watched Binna as she struggled to get up from the ground. Binna stood up and picked her bike up, she looked at the car she had rammed into, she panicked, it was no ordinary car, it was a luxury car; the latest edition of Rolls-Royce. The front of the car was badly damaged and the headlights of her bike fell off. How was she going to afford the repair of a luxury car? While Binna contemplated how to approach the driver, more identical cars with huge security details started parking beside the damaged car. Six bodyguards came out of the vehicles, more men were coming out of the cars.
