I tiptoed from bed across the floor. I immediately adjusted to the light and found the entrance to the living area.
In the dark, the strip looked better. Outside the window, twinkling lights tempted me to go look. I needed a restroom quickly.
I pulled my legs in and danced about the room, looking for a restroom door. If I peed on Luke's marble floor, at least it was easy to clean. If it was carpeted, I'd be in trouble. Finally, I opened a door adjacent to the kitchen to find a half-bath. I sat down inside.
I was now married to Luke King. I was his wife, yet I hardly knew him. His magical c**k could make me do whatever he wanted. Bad idea. I cleaned myself and felt limo-f**k residue.
Flush, I washed my hands, and left the bathroom. In the strip's light, the apartment was at least as brilliant as a full moon. I dug everywhere, hoping someone had given me more than three seconds to find my handbag. I found it in a corner of the kitchen counter, appearing out of place on the immaculate granite. I discovered my phone after digging in it.
It still had a lot of battery when I turned it on. I ran to the half-bath, closed the door, and phoned Odelia.
Third ring, she answered.
She drawled, "Hey, girl." "How was dress-shopping?"
I yelled, "I'm married."
She paused. "What?"
I repeated, "I'm married."
“What?”
She snapped, "I f****d heard you first."
"f**k Joyce. When I drunkenly told you to get married in 24 hours, I wasn't serious.
"Well, that wasn't my idea," I answered, and I explained how we eloped in England.
"So you gave him such a b*****b that he had to marry you?"
“No!” I trembled as I remembered Luke's terrified face. "Nope. It was spontaneous, I guess.”
She guessed. "You didn't tell me you slept with him?"
"Well, no. I...dunno. I know he's hot since we've been into each other since we met. We f****d after we were married.”
She chuckled. "You had s*x after marriage?" She yelled.
"Quiet!" I replied, "I didn't choose." "If he'd let me, I'd have f****d him in five minutes. And more.”
"You never told me."
"It seemed insignificant."
"You're a ditz." "It's vital. He's interested. No big thing, huh? Maybe it'll affect your marriage?"
I hadn't really thought it through. It wasn't what a solid marriage required. I always believed big libidos made marriage less probable. Considering my parents.
I asked whether he liked me or simply wanted a marriage.
"I expected you'd tell him something."
"I forgot."
“Shit.” I overheard her sigh. "You're forgetful. Is his sperm a mind-altering drug?"
I paused. I answered, "Maybe."
“Jesus. When's it?"
"Noon."
She said, “Wake him up.” Why did he desire a wife?
"What if he drugs me again?" I glared.
She hung up after saying, "Bottle it and sell it." Odelia ended calls at dramatic moments. She believed it stopped her life from becoming a sleazy, incomplete biography.
I turned off my phone and sat on the toilet to think. After that failed, I showered. Showers help me think.
When I returned to our bedroom, I slowed down and considered my options. If I showered in the nearby bathroom, he'd probably want to f**k me. I finally didn't want that. Our limo experience was too fresh, raw, and superficial. I wanted to wash and sleep.
I climbed into bed with Luke and poked him.
He woke up so quickly and forcefully that I felt awful for him. Almost. He blinked at me in the faint light.
He said, "Joyce." "Why?"
I wonder. "Why did you marry a stranger?"
Luke leaned back and wiped his face. He said, "Joyce..."
I recognized that tone.
I said, "f**k you."
"Eat my d***s. "
I hardly heard him ask, "Is it big."
"I’m having a bath.”
since I'd noticed the restroom on the opposite side of the bed. I ran to it nude, unconcerned. Darkness prevented much visibility. I opened the door, turned on the light, and slammed it. To show he was mature and measured.
Like the rest of the suite, the bathroom was ludicrous. Leopoldd lights gently lit granite countertops and marble floors. A gigantic tub lay adjacent to the vanities, and a massive glass shower cubicle dominated one corner. I ran to it and made sure the water was scorching hot before entering.
The water jet eventually relaxed me. Not relaxing like I had after Luke's limo o****m—that was almost frightening—but focusing. I grabbed the soap and smelled spearmint and rosemary. I scrubbed myself gratefully, letting the hot water ease my sore muscles.
The sound of the door opening made me stiffen up again.
“Dammit!” I muttered, turning and gazing at Luke through the glass doors. “Can't I simply take a shower in peace?”
He seemed amused as he proceeded to disrobe—a fast process considering he was just wearing a pair of silky boxers. “I thought you wanted to know why I wanted a wife?” he asked.
I frowned at him and placed my head under the shower stream. “I do,” I told him. “Are you going to tell me?”
He didn't react, merely opened the shower cubicle and walked in.
Of course. What a d**k.
My haughty ire probably would have had more effect if I'd been able to resist myself from sneaking a glimpse at his bare body.
Yeah, I thought as I attempted to make my sight brief, and what a d**k it is.
I won't lie. Luke King had a pretty good c**k, and I sort of loathed him for it. Even flaccid, it appeared big and meaty, precisely the type of c**k you'd want to play with and coax into standing at attention. Even for the brief seconds I gazed at it, it twitched at me.
Okay, maybe I gazed at it for more than a few seconds.
With a hmph, I turned aside and proceeded to lather my skin.
