Royce
"Today is the day! The f*****g day b***h! I am taking the most precious person alive out tonight. I am so f*****g excited for tonight you have no f*****g idea. It's gonna be great we're gonna have so much fun and we're gonna f*****g do it again sometime.
Oh when he says "we should do that again sometime" I will literally die! I'm so f*****g ready Mel, so f*****g ready!" I screamed at my sister as I got ready for my date with Brady. "Calm the f**k down Roy." She said as she picked something out for me.
"What color tie do you want?" She asked making me turn around. "Tie? We're not going to dance under the stars and moonlight Melissa." I said with a roll of my eyes. "Seriously? Then what are you gonna do?" She asked.
"We're going rollerblading." I replied. "But he can't skate." She said making me smile. "I figured, I'm gonna get to hold him close to me and make him feel special and––oh god, it's gonna be great." I said, seeing the entire date going in my head.
"Wooooooooooow. I have never seen a boy drive you as crazy as he is." She laughed making me smile. "No boy has ever driven me as crazy as him, he's just...perfect." I sighed in pleasure. She smiled. "You better get going, it's almost seven." She said.
I bit my lip in sheer excitement and grabbed my leather jacket. "Oh and Jacob might come over we had a thing to do and I never told him the good news, so like send him home when he gets here." I said as I walked out my room. "Will do." She said.
I wished my parents a good night before leaving the house on my bike. I got to his house and texted him. He responded almost immediately which I found adorable. I walked up to his door and just as I got there I heard him scream a goodbye to his parents
He opened the door and smiled which made me smile. He looked adorable. He had on a maroon button up with black sweats on and black vans. He also had a new haircut. He now had an undercut and his curly hair was a little shorter and blonde at the tips.
But damn, did it look gorgeous on him.
"Hey." I said, still a bit dazed by his beauty. "Where's your car?" He asked and I smiled instantly. "I brought my bike so you can hold onto me." I said smugly and he rolled his eyes. "Oh god." He said and right after cracked a sexy little smirk.
I smiled right back before putting my arm around him. We got to my bike and I gave him a helmet before getting on. He did so after me and put his arms around my waist making butterflies erupt in me. "Hold tight, I wouldn't want you to fall." I said and he chuckled.
I started my bike and we were off. At some point along our ride he laid his head against my back and shifted a little closer to me. I could now tell just how much of him he was restricting me from seeing.
If he'd done this sooner we would've been dating by now. I guess that's how bad Jeremy scared him. But I had him now, it was my turn to redeem us pretty boys!
I parked and let Brady get off first before I followed. We walked into the mall together and he looked around in awe. I had forgotten that he'd never been here. This whole time it felt like I'd been trying to get him for years when it'd barely been a month.
We walked in silence to the roller-skating rink and once we got there I smiled. "Are you ready for the best night of your life?" I asked and he nodded with a small smile on his face. I smiled back before entering.
I got us our skates and before I knew it we were going to skate. I got on first and he followed after me. He held onto me tightly before looking up at me. "I've never done this before." He said.
"Don't worry, I've got you." I replied before moving my hands to his hips. "I won't let you go, okay?" I asked. He nodded. "Okay..." He said.
"Now start moving, one foot at a time."
