Chapter 3: Sleepover Shenanigans.

1135 Words
Brady Melissa and I were having a sleepover to celebrate my first week at Newton Lake and our first week of being best friends. At first the idea was cute and I was into it then... "So umm, I don't know how you missed this but like...Royce is kinda my brother." She said. "Kinda?!" I shouted. "How the fu-" I was going to stay but she cut me off by slapping her hand over my mouth. "No swearing! Sheela will copy you." She scolded before removing her hands from my mouth. "Sheela?" I asked. "My parrot." She said. I nodded and right after that prayed for my death. "I wanna go home right now." I said. "Well you can't, you're parents are out of town for the weekend and so is your brother." She said and my heart stopped. "How do you know that?" I asked. "Oh I was just...I was just guessing." She said with a nervous smile. "Never guess again please." I whispered as I held my chest. I'm not fond of being told things I think that only I know by other people, it's creepy. "But hey look on the bright side, you're with me I'll keep Royce in his lane." She said making me chuckle. "Really, coz it seems you're the one shoving him out of it all the f*****g time." I said and we both gasped. "Sorry." I said with a small smile. "You're an i***t, but I love you." She said before hugging me. "So what do you want to do?" She asked. "Watch a movie." I suggested. "No that's boring. Something else." She said. "I don't know then, watching a movie is about the only fun thing to do these days." I said as I took my phone out. Before I could do anything she took it and through it in her f*****g bird's cage. "What the hell man?" I asked as I went up to the bird. I tried to stick my finger in and get my phone but the f*****g animal tried to bite me. "You'll get it back later, now we need to do stuff with no electronics." She said. Before I could say anything her front door opened and a blonde guy and Royce walked in laughing together. Once they caught site of Mel and I they fell silent. "Hey Corgi!" Mel screamed as she ran to the blonde and gave him a hug. What type of name is Corgi? "Oh Corgi this is my best friend Brady, Brady this is my favorite friend of Royce's, Jordan. But I call him Corgi, only me." She said. I stood and shook hands with him. "Nice to meat you Brady." He said, smiling politely. "Likewise Jordan." I replied. I looked at Royce and got a flirtatious smile from him making me roll my eyes. "So what's the special occasion, my favorite person is here for a special reason right." He said as he scanned me over. Ugh! "We're celebrating his first week of school here and our first week of being best friends." Mel answered. "Oh, then we should get you a cake." Jordan said. "You know what's even better, baking one." Royce said with an evil smirk on his face. I furrowed my brows at him in suspicion. What are you up to boy? "That's a great idea, let's all bake together!" Mel shouted. Everyone smiled except me, I wasn't excited for this, especially because of Royce's smirk at me when he pitched the idea. About a half hour later we were in the process of baking. Jordan and Mel were mixing the batter for the cake that Royce and I made. Whilst they were mixing we were getting the baking portion of making this cake ready. So that meant we were handling butter knives and butter. Which was bad. Very. f*****g. Bad. "Royce can you pass me the butter." I said as I got out another cake pan. Royce, ever so elegantly, pushed his junk against my ass and leaned over my shoulder before putting the butter down beside me. "There you go, Brady." He whispered into my ear making me blush. I'd be lying if I said that didn't turn me on. About another hour later the cake was done, iced and decorated to some type of degree. It wasn't a good degree though. We'd cleaned up as the thing was baking in the oven so all that was left to do was eat it. But apparently I was the only person who thought cakes were for eating because Mel, Jordan and Royce all used their f*****g hands to rip a chunk of cake from the final product. They all turned to each other and I watched as each one of them threw their chunk of cake at someone else. I ran right out the kitchen, leaving them to destroy it on their own. "Wait, we need to get Brady!" Mel shouted and right after that the lights in the living room went off and my heart stopped. I tried to listen for any of them but couldn't hear s**t. I got up from the couch and used the little light being provided by the moon to move around the living room. Someone had tried to attack me but I dodged them and made a b-line for the kitchen. On my way there someone else tried to get me but fortunately they missed me by like a f*****g inch. I made it into the kitchen and closed the sliding door. I walked back, keeping an eye on the door. Before I knew it I had been grabbed by my waist and had a hand full of cake right beside my face. The lights went on and I looked up to see the green eyes I hated and adored so much. "R-Royce, please...don't do this..." I begged as I kept an eye on his hand full of cake. "What will I get for not doing this to you?" He asked, smirking devilishly. "I'll...I'll..." I fumbled, trying to come up with something he'd want. "You'll what?" He asked, still smirking. "I'll...I'll kiss you." I said and he c****d an eyebrow. "Alright." He said, letting go of me. I took a breath out before looking at him. I moved closer to him and bit my lip as I kept eye contact. His face slowly became red as I ran my fingers up the arm that had the hand full of cake. I grabbed his wrist as I went on my tippy-toes and smiled. "Mwah." I sounded a kiss, kissing the air inches away from his lips, before shoving his own hand full of cake into his face. He stumbled into the wall behind him and I bursted out in laughter. Before long we were all laughing.
