*Constance* Back in my bedroom, I looked out of the window, cast in the gloom of a wet, dreary day. It's been far too long since I've felt the sun on my skin, and I missed the warmth of it. I longed to feel the grass beneath my paws and to feel the wind through my fur. But that wouldn't be happening. Not now. I twisted my hands in front of me, worrying at my nails as I began pacing the length of the bedroom floor. My mind was racing, my heart fluttering in my chest, and my breath was coming in small, silent gasps. I wasn't sure what to think about first, as there was simply too much to contemplate.
