Scandalous little Brandon paid his first visit of the month to the First Class cabin late the next night, after the service, when we were well on our way to Sydney. Brandon’s probably only in his mid-twenties, but he came to the base in San Francisco right out of training, which gives him enough seniority at the base to hold Sydney trips all year long. He is one of a group of Globe Runner flight attendants whose primary social life is in Sydney, rather than at home, and, as I have already mentioned, he is something of a celebrity on the Sydney club scene.
“Well, hello,” Josh exclaimed when Brandon poked his head through the galley curtains.
“You’re a long way from home,” I observed, referring to the fact that he never sets foot out of the coach cabin.
