Kiss

I woke up with a slight headache. The light from the moon illuminated my room.

The window had been left open. I opened my eyes slowly.

Scanning the environment, I realized it was my room.

How did I get here? Immediately, I remembered what had happened. Azalea!

I stood up and held my head. My head ached but it did not matter at this point.

I jumped out of my head and walked out of the room. All that was in my mind and head was Azalea.

The moon did a good job of illuminating the passage. The lanterns that were there were barely burning. Perhaps, the fuel had been exhausted.

“Where are you going?” Millicent questioned as she saw me worried. She was equally worried, seeing my reaction.

“Azalea"

That was all I could mutter as I ran quickly, looking for my husband. I was about to run back outside when I saw a battling sight. I held the door in shock.

Was it all a dream? No. I was very sure of what I saw. Azalea was lifeless.

He was about to be buried when I lost consciousness. Perhaps, Ellington had hit me on the head hence my passing out.

Noticing my presence, Ellington and Azalea turned to look at me. Ellington was discussing with Azalea.

Azalea had a smile on his face as he crossed his hands behind his back.

Although I didn’t hear what he was saying, I knew it could not be something right as Ellington frowned his face.

Seeing me, Ellington kept mute. He turned and walked back in.

I stared at him as I tried to decipher what he could have been saying but his face was blank. He had no expression.

He kept mute as he walked past me, acting like I wasn’t there. What could have happened?

Azalea had a smile on his face as I walked toward him. I looked at him and then again at my brother’s back as he walked inside.

My headache disappeared immediately after I saw him. Seeing his infectious smile, I smiled as well although I was still worried.

“What did he say? What were you discussing with my brother?” I questioned, standing right in front of him.

“It’s nothing. How are you? Are you okay now?” He questioned, examining my head with care and love.

I blushed immediately.

“Yes, I am fine. I am good” I smiled. His touch had taken away the pain I felt.

Then I remembered. It was not a dream. I had seen him lying lifeless. His body had turned white.

Did a miracle happen?

“Hold on” I held his hands and examined them. His hands were normal.

“What happened to you?”

I pinched myself again to be sure I was not dreaming or hallucinating.

“Are you okay?” I questioned again, looking at his face.

“Yes, I am fine. I am very okay. Is anything the matter?” He looked at me with surprise. No. I wasn’t dreaming.

I was sure I saw him lying on the floor.

“You were…. You….” I stammered.

"I was...." He strained his ear towards me. I was embarrassed.

"You were lying lifeless a few minutes ago"

He looked at me and chuckled. "No, I wasn't!"

"Yes, you were. I saw you..."

“Whatever happened must have happened in your head.

Would you want to watch the stars with me? “ He smiled, holding my hands with love.

“I…. “ I sighed.

I was beginning to act insane. Was something wrong with me?

“Yes. Let’s go” I smiled. He nodded and raised me on his back.

“What are you doing?” I giggled shyly. He was very excited and so was I.

I had believed we would both transform into our wolf forms and run but he carried me on his back. I was….

Flushed.

“You are my wife. My soon-to-be Luna. Can’t I carry you or are you shy?” My heart began to beat as my chest rested on his back. Yes, I was shy.

Perhaps, he noticed I was not comfortable, he decided to make me comfortable.

“Let’s make it more fun. Whoever gets to the stream first would take whatever he or she wants from the other” He smiled.

“Yes!” I shouted excitedly as he let me down. He smiled and immediately transformed into his wolf form.

I gasped at his beauty. He was even more beautiful than a regular wolf. He had black fur with golden tints all over.

He was very beautiful. His red eyes glowed, even more, adding more beauty to him.

I walked closer to him and rubbed his fur. He liked it as he rubbed my body with it, beckoning me to transform.

I was very shy but left with no choice, I decided to.

I was not as beautiful as he was. I had brown furs on my body and dull yellow eyes.

Even though his reaction showed he was amazed, I wasn’t amazed at my body.

Just then, he began to prepare to run, and before I could say a word, he beckoned on me to move before him.

I ran quickly before he left. He was a man after all. He howled and then ran after me.

Just as I was about to get to the stream, he ran fast before me and then stopped at the stream.

How was that possible? I was disappointed.

“It’s because you are a male and you are an Alpha” I pouted my lips as I transformed back to my human form.

He transformed into his human form as well and then laughed at me, making me even more upset.

I tried to walk away but then, he pulled me back, a smile on his face.

“That was why I made you run before me. I didn’t you to feel I had more advantage and that was why I gave you that much space. “

It was true. He allowed me to run before taking a step.

"Anyway, I won. And for what I want…….” He pulled me closer to me, releasing a gasp from my mouth.

He drew me close to his face and placed his mouth to my ear.

The air he exhaled caused a tingling between my thigh. “I want a kiss”
