Running, we are always running. I can't remember a time when we haven't been running. But now the hunters are on our tail and we are running for our lives. you see we are some of the last dragons left on Earth as the hunters have nearly completely wiped us out of existence. They hate all supernatural creatures. Just yesterday when I turned 16 I found out that I am also part werewolf. I shifted for the first time, and it hurt like hell. my mom cryed and apologized over and over as my bones broke and rearranged into wolf form. after a few hours I had finally completed my shift and successfully shifted back into my human form.
unfortunately all my screaming alerted the hunters and they found us. now we are running threw the forest to my father's pack Hoping he will keep me safe so I can learn how to control my powers without fear of the hunters killing me.
we're running threw the woods my mom gripping my arm tightly as she pulls me along. the hunters got ahold me and got a few shots in. as we run I have blood dripping down my face and staining my natural curly midnight black hair. I don't know where I got us as my mom's is brown as is my uncle Joeseff 's
" hold in there Clarklynn were about to enter their territory" my mom's yells as I feel a slight jolt. we continue to run untill wolves jump out in front of us and my mom stops in her tracks as I try to catch my breath.
A man walk out in front of us in only a pair of shorts looking ticked
" I am Mathew, beta of the howling midnight moon pack, and you are trespassing" the man named Mathew yells "why have you tresspased on our land"
"Mathew please, it's Maya" my mom yells frantically trying to hold me steady as I wobble in my feet. Mathews eyes widen at her statement clearly shocked my mom has come back.
"M-Maya, Luna? Y-You've come back" he asked.
" Yes Mathew, we have come back. Please let us threw" she yells but just as she does another man comes running into the circle that has formed around us In just a pair of jeans, he has power radiating off of him in waves. He must be the alpha. He's probably about 6ft5 he has the same black hair and bright blue eyes as me, he also has the same sun kissed tan skin as I. I figure he must be Alpha Declan, my father. as I exmaine him, my eye sight starts to blur.
"D-Declan" my mom's says as the man states at my mom
"Maya" he says clearly entranced at seeing my mom again. I roll my eyes, even in my declining state, Im still a sass ass, as my mom calls me. I Huff quietly and comment they should get a room. at this my mom's eyes widen as she looks at me
"Clarklynn Raye, mind your manners" my mom's scolds as Declan looks over and his eyes widen finally noticing me standing there
"Clarklynn, Maya is this..?"
"Our Daughter" my mom finishes for him. His eyes suddenly look pissed as he looks back at my mom
"Why did you run?" he askes clearly hurt'?" Why did you take her from me"
my mom starts to sob as she answers"Declan I am so so sorry. when the hunters came for her I freaked. I felt like I needed to get her away from here to keep her safe" she cries as she looks to him. He now I'm looks ticked off
"So you didn't think that my pack and I could keep her safe?"Declan askes clearly upset.
"Declan, I am so so sorry, I was scared. the hunters were coming and I didn't know what else to do, but I know I was wrong. The hunters have been just 2 steps behind us the entire time. when Clarklynn shifted for the first time last night they caught up to us. They nearly killed Clark." my mom says sobbing as she continues, my eye sight getting more blurry as they speak.
Declan's eyes widen at her comment and turn to look at me, but as he does my feet decide they can no longer support me, and I crumble to the ground. My mom is holding my hand and crying, and then Declan is kneeling over me and putting his hands on my face as he yells in panic.
"Someone get the pack doctor here now!" my Dad shouts. then he turns to me voice softer"Clarklynn sweetie stay with me ok. Your going to be ok" but as he says this my vision goes completely dark as I slip into the peaceful darkness
