A Relaxing Evening with Shine and Friends

“Please follow me," she said calmly while smiling sweetly at Shine. Shine maintained a poker face and followed them to the table. Their table was far from the crowd. Everyone was staring at them, especially Shine. He was young but exuded a mature aura, resembling a Greek god. He was incredibly handsome and noble. Although they were all good-looking, Shine stood out with his undeniable nobility. They sat down and placed their orders. The waitress left to fulfill their request. "Man, if I weren't a guy, I would propose to you," Kendrick said, playfully acting cute. Everyone at the table found it amusing, including Shine, who had been wearing a poker face since their arrival. He appreciated his friend's audacity and cheekiness. Emerson pretended to vomit, which caused everyone to burst into laughter. The ladies couldn't help but be infatuated with Shine. His dimples were clearly visible, making him look cute. "Please, never say something like that again. It makes me want to vomit blood," Emerson said. They chatted for a while until their food arrived. They ate quietly. "I have something to discuss with you guys," Shine said. "What is it?" Kendrick responded. "Not here, I'll tell you when we get back to the dorm." "Okay." They finished their food quickly and left the place. "We have class tomorrow, so let's head back to the hostel," Divine said. "Ah, so if not the hostel, where are we going?" Kendrick said, making them all laugh at Divine. "That's quite rude, dude," Emerson said. "Don't mind him," Shine said to Divine. They talked and laughed on their way back. After arriving at the hostel room, they settled down. "So, what do you want to discuss with us?" Kendrick asked. "Guy, can you let us relax a bit?" Emerson said. "I'm planning on opening a company," Shine said, capturing everyone's attention. "Guy, that's a good idea, but we don't have much money to start it," Emerson said. "Yeah, why don't we wait a little longer?" Kendrick also suggested. "You guys shouldn't worry. I was just informing you—I have enough money to start the company." "Are you kidding me? Where did you get that from? Don't be offended. I mean, you only write books and make money from them, but I don't think it will be enough to start a company," Emerson said. "Chill, guys. I know what I'm doing. You were right when you said the internet can help me make money. Don't worry, I'm going to start small. I just wanted to inform you so you can support and advise me." "If you can, then no problem. We're here for you. If you need any financial assistance, just let us know. I'll talk to my dad about investing in your company," Kendrick said. "If anything comes up, just let us know. We'll be here to support you," Emerson added. "Alright, let's prepare for tomorrow's lectures." Shine was extremely busy with his business and studies. His friends supported him with what they could afford. Years went by, and soon it was time for their graduation. During Shine's four years in Paris, Sarah and her kids didn't even call him once to ask about him. Shine tried reaching out to them multiple times, but they thought he was in need of money and blocked his number. Mr. Frederick was the only one who called him several times to check on him and even sent him money personally. "So, tomorrow is our graduation. Are you guys happy?" They were at a fancy restaurant on the top floor of the new shopping mall. It's actually one of Shine's properties. Only high-class people can afford to dine there. Kendrick kept talking nonstop. "Who wouldn't be happy to graduate?" Emerson replied to Kendrick. "Let's get serious. After graduation, what's next?" Divine asked. "Well, I was planning on expanding my company worldwide. But I want to leave you guys in charge because I'm going to join the military," Shine said. "What about your security personnel?" Kendrick asked. “Since you studied business, Kendrick, I'll leave you in charge of my company." "My dad wants me to handle our family business too." "Don't worry, Emerson and Divine will help you out. I'll help too." "How did you know we'd help him without asking us? Don't think you can boss us around," Emerson told Shine. "I just know you won't sit by without helping," Shine said with a smirk. "You're not serious," Divine joked, making them all laugh. They continued their meal and only talked when necessary. "So, when will you join the army? Have you already bought the form?" Kendrick asked. "I bought it a while ago. I'll be going next Saturday," Shine said, annoying the rest. "Why didn't you tell us earlier?" Emerson asked. "I knew you guys wouldn't agree with my decision." "We already told you we'd support you no matter what. It's not nice to keep it from us," Kendrick complained. POV; sorry guys, I was busy with school activities. But I will try my best to update from time to time. Thank you.
