13 – Results
Aiden’s POV:
Not long after the movie began, I sensed Hailey’s heaviness, indicating that she had dozed off. I continued to watch the movie, savoring her warmth in my arms. I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to having her in my arms every day, sleeping and waking together, but for now, I take whatever I can get. It gives Tank and me the peace we need for now until we can mark her.
It’s relatively early when the movie ends, but I still snuggle up to Hailey. It’s like the stress leaves me the longer I’m with Hailey. With a kiss on her head, I quickly fall asleep.
