Devin’s POV
The medical bay had been in lack of patients. War was a thing of the past, as we hadn’t gotten ourselves involved in any strife or battle. I walked through the unit, heading toward the girl I found laying unconscious on the forest floor.

“How can I help you, Mr Devin?” The healer asked. She had stepped out from the med room where they admitted the lady I brought the previous week. Her voice trembled as she spoke to me. It was obvious my reputation, although in the wrong light, preceded me.
“I came to check on the lady I had brought to the hospital unconscious.”
She nodded inside the room. “She’s been awake for a while.”
I looked through the door as the nurse had left ajar. The lady in question sat on her bed, fumbling with her hands.
