I got to the holding cell in time to see her surrounded by healers. “What is going on here?” I asked, almost screaming at the guards placed around her. “She said she wasn’t feeling too good,” a guard said, stuttering as he moved away from me. “And you waited until she was weak and helpless before you called for help?” I was fuming now, walking towards the guard with my nose flaring. “We can’t treat her here and in this condition. We need the pack’s healer,” One healer said as he headed out of the cell. I turned my attention towards the healer, all my fury disappearing in an instant as I saw her sprawled on the ground. “Do what you have to do,” I said, turning my attention back to the guards.
