Devin’s POV I stretched my body as I stepped out into the sun. The castle bustled with incoming traffic of servants going for the duties, and guard finished with that watch, giving way to fresh blood to replace them in their station. “Ah.” I muffled a scream as I raised my hand to the sky. My actions still served as a deterrent to guards and servant alike as they made to avoid me. “Going somewhere, Mr Devin?” The voice pulled out from my supposed revelry of becoming a tyrant to my subjects. He stood at the end of the walkway, looking tired and stress from his night watch. No guard had attempted to do what he did. I noted his attempt as one who loved to court death. “I planned to go on a little hike.” He nodded to my answer, arranging his clothing properly. “Mind if I followed you?”
