All the other doctors leave once they have checked her over, I still haven’t been able to speak to her. I don’t know if I want to throttle her or kiss the life out of her, when the doctors have left I turn my back to her, “Glad to see you’re still in there.”

Savannah looks at me sadly, she grabs my hand and squeezes it before saying, “I am sorry, I shouldn’t have done that.”

I look into her eyes and see the guilt. I sigh and turn to face her again, “It’s ok, I’m more f*****g relieved you’re awake and being you.” She chuckles at this.

She then sighs a contented sigh before saying “It’s f*****g good to be back.”
