Chapter 15Khalil Hamidou's pilot flew in to the camp from Abalessa right at 6 a.m. They would be heading back to Djelfa, Khalil's home base, immediately after breakfast. Khalil's pilot told us the campsite on the other side of the hill still had lots of activity. We decided we need to do our drone fly-over twice a day, before dawn and after dusk. We've more or less neglected checking in on them the last couple of days. We probably should also begin using our parabolic microphone at least twice a day. I asked Eddie and David to scout for a rocky hideout on the hill where someone could be stationed and remained concealed.
