Chapter 16Everyone was up early, just after dawn. After everyone had the opportunity to view the metallic blob on the monitor, we all agreed that this could be the DC-3. The size of the object looks proportionate to the size of a DC-3 airplane. We loaded extra ropes and grappling hooks into the helicopter. We also replenished drinking water for the expedition.
Finally, we were ready. The suspected crash area coordinates are 23°15'45.6"N 7°44'17.3"E, which is 154 miles northeast from our campsite. The flying time at full speed would be about 40 minutes, but we were going to fly at less than full speed and arrive in an hour.
