Chapter 20We flew both helicopters to the location where our caravan halted. This location is at coordinates 23°22'34.2"N 8°02'01.7"E. We set both helicopters down near our caravan and found Sam and Jeri each on the phone. Djamel and the two officers that rode in the caravan were also on phones near Sam and Jeri. The two officers that rode with us in the helicopters went quickly over to the other two officers. We waited patiently until Sam and Jeri were off their phones. They were in a conference call with our law firm, Djamel's law firm, the US Embassy in the El-Biar area of Algiers, and the Algerian Department of Intelligence. I must admit, Sam and Jeri seem to have acted very quickly and hopefully in a positive direction. We left them alone until we saw they had disconnected.
