KAEL'S POV.
“Shut up Zer! I exclaimed he had been irritating me since we got back. “I can't believe you saved
her, a light fae,” he says and I face palm. “You irritate my soul,” I reply as we stopped in front of
the yard, “If you don't shut up I'll throw you into the river” I add and he snickers before letting out
a ridiculous laughter, “Are you insane? What's funny?” I asked as my dark essence moved
about. “The almighty king of our realm has been unsettled by a little light fae,” I snarled as I
turned to face him, he raised both his arms up as he clearly tried to hold his laughter. “Get lost,
Akirah is here” I say and he turns, “Where's she?” He asked and I smiled, “Now you get to taste
your own medicine” I say and he rolled his eyes as he turned to face me. “I'll let this slide,” he
says and I smile, I'd always be glad I met Zeres. But he wasn't lying, I wasn't going to ignore
the fact that her silver eyes had crossed my mind a lot of times this week, and it annoyed me.
My mind kept taking me to how her body felt pressed against mine, I stopped abruptly and
Zeres looked at me confused. “Where are you going?” He asks but I ignore him, he follows me
down to the stable as I mount my horse, “You're riding out?” He asks “Yes,” I reply. “Light
realm?” He asks and I smile, “Well done sherlock” I reply before kicking my horse for it to move.
The cool wind blew my coat back, I told myself I had another reading for this trip, curiosity about
the light realm but I knew I was lying to myself I wanted to see her again and I didn't know why. I
demounted my horse as I attached his rein on a pole as I walked my eyes searching for her, I'd
be so upset if I didn't see her here tonight.
I walked through the market, suppressing my energy, I walked towards the lake standing in front
of the lake I stared into the water. I remembered my mum again, I've been thinking about her more often. We were by the fountain in our palace, I ran round it as mother pretended to be a dragon lady, I laughed as she chased
me about. I chuckled as I remembered the memory, I was such a silly child, I walked away from
the lake and I spotted her even beneath the cloak I still knew she was the one talking.
She argued with a seller over fruit, she bargained and soon a smile found its way to my face.
I focused my senses so I could hear her, “This fruit is bruised madam I can't pay 6 silver coins
for this” she says “Take it for 5 then” the seller says but my light fae was adamant.
I laughed silently, she finally got the seller to agree with her price, I followed her with my eyes
calmly as she moved slowly, she was so curious about everything. She even asked questions,
too many questions if I might add, I started following her as I watched her closely, she even
chatted happily with the children down on the streets.
She walks back towards the lack as she breaks pieces of something into the water, was she
feeding the fishes? Oh my Goodness, I couldn't control myself and I burst into laughter. She
turns suddenly as she froze. “You?”
