HIS LIGHT FAE PRINCESS

THEIR ENCOUNTER.

KAEL'S POV.

She was pacing and it was starting to affect my eyes. I watched as she moved, I was interested,

I wondered what type of light fae she was. She had silver hair and eyes, she also had fair skin

and her tone was definitely royalty but hearing her deny it made me skeptical, I couldn't even

get to her head. She was definitely lying to me, I gripped her wrist as she gasped harshly.

"Please don't kill me, please!" She begged, making me frown as I slowly let go of her, "I saved

your life, why will I kill you after?" I asked.

"I don't know, please I need to go back" she says, "You're so adamant fae" I reply "Tell me,

what's your name?" I asked and she shook her head, "Why? Why should I tell you my name?"

She asks in reply. I snickered, "I already said this before, I'm not going to hurt you" I say.

"Ella." She replies one word, I tilt my head watching her, she was lying to me. I focused on her

and I finally got something, her heartbeat. It was insanely fast, she was still scared, I shook my

head, what were they feeding these faes about us? She stopped suddenly as she glared at me

and Gods! Those eyes, silver with irritation, she was definitely royal. But if she was, why couldn't

I sense any type of essence from her? Where were her guards? Why was there no protection

magic surrounding her? Why was she alone?

Different questions filled my head as I pushed them away, she suddenly stomped her foot, "You!

Take me back now!" She exclaims and I smirked, yep she was definitely royal blood.

"Ella," I called and she looked at me, "Yes?" She replies "Let's go back," I say and she nods

hurriedly. "Hold on tight," I say and she nods moving to wrap her hands around me, I stilled, the

feeling of her warm body pressed against mine did something to me but I brushed it off quickly.

The wind blew hard and soon we were back in the market square. Immediately her feet touched

the ground, she pushed me away and I stumbled backwards, I raised my head just in time to

see her running off, I chuckled as I watched her. She was so bloody fascinating, I thought as I

straightened myself and brushed my cloak.

"Who was that?" I heard Zeres as I closed my eyes before turning to face him, "Zer! You found

me. Again," I say as he frowns "Yes, now who was she?" He asked, "A light fae," I replied. He

ran his hand over his face and I grinned, “I'm not cleaning your mess again your highness.” He

says very sarcastic, I chuckled “Let's head back Zer” I say walking towards our horses, “You

smell so much of light essence” he says all of a sudden, “Oh shut it!” I reply and he laughs.

“Tell me, how was your encounter?” He asks, “She's a very peculiar creature,” I reply

“Obviously, she's a light fae” he says and I shake my head. “Peculiar creature because she

doesn't have any essence radiating from her and it took me a while to hear her,” I say and he

raises his brow, “I think the almighty Kael is losing his spark” he says and I chuckled, “Very

funny Zer.”

I stared out the window as I remembered the night my parents died, I placed my head on the

glass as I slowly closed my eyes.

Fifteen years ago,

“Mama, look” I said as I showed my powers to her, just that morning I had destroyed one of the

east wings and she was so proud of me. She clapped softly as we both watched the flames

dancing in my palm, “You're so perfect Kael” she said stroking my hair and I gave her a toothy

grin. “Kael!” I heard my father's voice as I hurried behind my mother, one thing I knew was she

always knew how to calm him down. “Why are you yelling my son's name?” She asks as soon

as he appeared in the garden, he had three guards behind him all the time. His crown sat

crookedly on his head as he frowned, “Stay out of this Stella” he said and my mother gasped,

“You just called my name, oh you're done Ethan” she says as I laugh from behind her. “You

keep indulging him, he destroyed one of the wings this morning,” he says. “I know my darling,

he's a dark fae. You don't expect him to make rainbows do you?” She asks as she brings me

forward, I waved at my father as he sighs, “Please my mighty prince. Could you stop destroying

things for now?” He asks and I look at him, “I could try papa” I reply as mother chuckles. “What

type of parents would we be if our son can't destroy an ordinary wing?” Mother asks as she pulls

me into her arms, “I love you mama,” I said and she laughs kissing my cheeks, “I love you too

my sweet baby” she replies.

We were in a moving carriage the next day, I was eagerly telling my mother the new things I

could do with my flames as she listened, “You're going to be such a strong fae,” she says,

making father chuckle as he rubs my head. The carriage suddenly stopped, “Protect the

Royals!” The guards yelled, father moved, kissing my forehead and mother's, “I'll check it,” he

says. “It's an ambush!” We hear again as the carriage moves harshly. “Ethan, please be careful”

mother says he nods before leaving, clashing of swords and moving of earthly things were

heard as I hugged my mother tightly, “I'm scared mama” I whispered softly. “Everything will be

fine my darling,” she replies.

The door suddenly opened as I jumped in her arms, and one of our guards stood there. “We

have to leave now your majesty,” he says holding his arm, his armor stained with blood.

“Where's my husband?” Mother asks, the guard stops before speaking again but mother cuts him off, “Where's your king!” She yelled holding me tightly, “Your majesty please, we have to

leave now!” He exclaims and suddenly the carriage toppled. We crashed, I coughed as mother

shielded my head,” Your majesty please, let's go” the guard said, lifting me from her arms. “I pushed the

guard as I rushed forward, she groaned, shaking her head, “Mama, mama please I'm scared” she

held me as she shook her head, “Leave with our g…guard…K…kael.” She forces out, the guard

pulled me as I yelled. Her silver eyes were the last thing I saw.

Present,

I opened my eyes but I couldn't see my mother's eyes anymore, rather a certain light fae

princess was in my head, I definitely wouldn't be thinking of anything else.
